Lesson in the Rental Process : Read This Before You Apply I won’t have the pleasure of calling Collier Ridge home, and while I don’t agree with the decision on my application, I believe there is a home for everyone. What I will say is this: come prepared, ask questions, and use every legitimate resource available to put yourself in the best position possible. The rental screening process can come with unexpected factors that applicants may not anticipate. In my case, I was denied because of multiple late payments at my previous residence, where I lived for three years. That part is true, and I have no issue owning it. Late fees exist for a reason, and I’m certainly not going to rewrite my history. At the same time, there are now numerous financial tools and services designed to help individuals manage income fluctuations and avoid situations that weren’t previously available. Knowing what screening criteria are being used before applying can make a significant difference. If they are honest about getting you in and not collecting “reviews”. One thing I’m genuinely curious about: how many applicants who are asked to leave a review early in the process ultimately end up signing a lease? It’s an interesting question, particularly in today’s rental market, where pricing, availability, screening requirements, and move-in costs can change very quickly. So, wiping my hands clean and telling the truth: Collier Ridge wasn’t my outcome, but the experience gave me a few lessons I’ll take with me to the next application. There is a home for everyone. Hopefully, the next one has my name on it. Sincerely, A future renter who came prepared, learned something, kept moving and took back my review.

I toured Collier Ridge Apartments and Townhomes today, and I have to say, I was genuinely impressed with the community. Everything was well-kept, welcoming, and had a really nice feel to it. The 2-bedroom townhome model especially stood out to me. It was beautiful, spacious, and very thoughtfully designed. I also want to give a special thank-you to Jasmine, the Assistant Community Manager, who showed me around. She was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. She took the time to answer all of my questions and provided me with all the information I needed about becoming a resident. She made the entire tour experience comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, I had a great experience at Collier Ridge, and I would definitely recommend checking it out if you're looking for a place to live on Atlanta's Upper Westside.

Been here about a year and just renewed without hesitating. The location sold me first. You're tucked into a quiet, wooded pocket of northwest Atlanta, but Midtown and Downtown are both about a 12-minute drive. Publix, Kroger, QuikTrip and plenty of places to eat are all within five minutes. A Shell station with Food Mart is literally right outside the gate. The grounds are actually kept up. You hear birds in the morning instead of traffic, which is not a small thing in this city. There's a bark park too, and a real dog community here — everyone knows each other. The townhome is a lot of space for the price. I looked at a fair number of places around here before signing, and most wanted more money for less square footage and an older floor plan. Parking has never been an issue, which sounds minor until you've lived somewhere it was. Maintenance is the part I'd underline. Every request I've put in this year has been handled with professionalism. I just need to submit a request via the Resident portal, and the maintenance team appears at the door almost instantly. Porsha Hood and her leasing Office team made move-in painless and have been responsive every time I've stopped by. They also put on community events that genuinely bring people out. Quiet, clean, responsive, fair on price. A year in, Collier Ridge gets the day-to-day right. Happy to recommend it.
