The Fairways at Jennings Mill

I have recently moved into these apartments. My leasing was very smooth and Shelby (leasing agent) helped me all/any questions I had. I am writing this review mainly for Tre- the maintenance guy. He is very professional and provides excellent service! When my AC went out he stayed until 10:30pm to fix the issue. He truly deserves a raise! Maintenance guys seem overworked here and they need to hire more people!

I am extremely disappointed by the lack of compassion shown by The Fairways at Jennings Mill. A close friend was involved in a devastating car accident that left her with a broken neck. She has already undergone two surgeries and is awaiting transfer to Shepherd Center for specialized rehabilitation. During what has been the most difficult time of her life, her family has been focused on her survival and recovery. Despite these extraordinary circumstances, the apartment complex has refused to return her deposit. While businesses certainly have policies, there are moments when humanity, empathy, and basic compassion should take precedence. How a company treats people during a crisis says a great deal about its values. This situation has left our family and friends deeply disappointed. I would encourage prospective residents to consider whether they want to rent from a management team that appears unwilling to show flexibility or understanding during a life-altering medical emergency. I hope the management team reconsiders its decision and chooses compassion over policy. UPDATE: When we reached out per the review response regarding the deposit/fee, we were told it was considered an "application fee" and therefore non-refundable. While that may be the policy, it is disheartening to see a business hide behind terminology rather than show compassion for someone facing a life-altering medical crisis. She was approved, had every intention of moving in, and her circumstances changed due to a devastating accident completely beyond her control. Policies are important, but so are empathy and basic human decency. This was an opportunity for the management team to demonstrate kindness and understanding, and unfortunately they chose not to. The amount may not mean much to the apartment complex, but it certainly does to someone dealing with overwhelming medical expenses and an uncertain future.

I moved to Athens from Roswell. I have had nothing but a great experience so far. I have been here a little over a month. Shelby in the front office was the first person I met when coming to look at the apartments. She was instrumental in my decision to move here. Her patience, kindness and willingness to show me each and every option of available apartments was what helped me make my final decision. I have met several of the maintenance personnel and they have been so very helpful and have provided immediate responses to what I needed help with. Emily has been so kind to me and has helped me with any questions I have had. I love the community. It's a beautiful place to live. I have met a lot of my neighbors and they have all been very kind and pleasant. I would recommend this community to anyone looking for a great place to live in Athens!!

We have loved living here! The location is great and the community is amazing. It feels very safe for our young family. The management has been very helpful when things have come up and maintenance has been very quick to respond. Very reasonable rent. Great amenities (pool, valet trash, gym, movie room). Highly recommend.

I just moved into this apartment complex and I absolutely love it. It really transforms you like your living in the hill, country, beautiful landscaping, spacious bedrooms and closets lovely trees.
