The Allure at Gateway

I lived here for three years, and I truly had a great experience from start to finish. The management team, Jasen and Helena, always treated me with kindness and respect and genuinely cared about the residents. No matter what came up, they were always willing to help and made sure everything was taken care of. The maintenance team was also fantastic. Every issue I ever had was handled quickly and professionally, and I always felt like my concerns were taken seriously. One thing I really appreciated was how they were constantly making improvements to the property. It was nice to see management investing in renovations and working to make the community even better over the years. I’m grateful for my time living here and want to thank Jasen, Helena, and the entire maintenance team for making these past three years such a positive experience. I would absolutely recommend this community to anyone looking for a place to call home.

Great staff. The office staff at The Allure at Gateway is caring and has always gone above and beyond to assist me and meet my needs. I wish the cost of living was not so high. But I understand those decisions are made by corporate. One of the things i appreciate about this team is both the competence and commitment to each individual resident!

Moved here 2 months ago . Could not be happier. High security, new structure, maintenance on call immediately, staff at front desk very helpful. Pool always clean, grounds maintained beautifully. Very accommodating to residents. Well worth the rent. We are paying less than prior apt and that was a dump filled with mold.

lived here for a while and, unfortunately, I can’t recommend it. The biggest issue was the noise. Not only could you hear neighboring apartments far more than you should, but our unit faced the highway and the road noise will irritate you as time goes on. Forget opening your windows at night if you enjoy peace and quiet. To management’s credit, the random fire alarm issues seem to have finally been fixed, but residents had to deal with months of alarms going off at all hours. It was frustrating and disruptive. The maintenance staff deserves praise because they were always friendly and helpful. The problem is that they seem to be constantly fighting an uphill battle due to how poorly parts of the property are built. Our AC broke multiple times, and it always seemed to happen during the hottest times of the year. Security is another concern. The gates are unreliable and frequently stop working. During our time here, police were on the property numerous times. There were vehicle break-ins, and even incidents where first-floor apartment windows were punched in. The amenities are okay but underwhelming. The pool is usable just a bit small for the number of residents, especially when large outside groups show up. The grill area is rarely fully functional—most of the burners seem to be broken. The dog park also appears to have been built on what was once a construction dumping area. I’ve personally seen dogs dig up sharp metal, chunks of concrete, cinder blocks, and other debris. Not a lot of area to walk unless you go down the road towards the 55 and up community. The open hallway design combined with valet trash service also seems to attract pests. During our last month and a half here, we dealt with a significant roach problem. They weren’t just outside—they were in the walls, crawling out of outlets, it was just gross. It was the first apartment we’ve ever lived in where they had to bug bomb the place. There are certainly worse places to live but My advice would be to put the same money toward a newer property with better construction, better sound insulation, and fewer ongoing issues.
