Toured a couple of places before Halo, not only is the property beautiful and well-kept but the staff is beyond professional and courteous. Every question and concerned was addressed promptly. Very welcoming experience. Highly recommend having your students at Halo.

I have been complaining for months about the unsafe conditions of this apartment complex and the terrible roommate matching system. Management does absolutely nothing when it comes to roommate conflicts. There are doors being propped open to let anyone inside the building because they don't open with your key fob, and doors that don't even lock around the building. The emergency maintenance line doesn't work, so please don't have any issues that need fixing after hours! The recent stabbing is proof that Halo doesn't listen to their resident concerns. What they don't also tell you is how apartments were broken into and nothing has changed except for the wallpaper in the lobby! Sincerely a 1/5 apartment complex, especially for the money. Please find somewhere with an at least decent management team.

I’ve never left a review in my life, but after my experience, I felt like I should say something to help others avoid wasting their money. First, I had two separate experiences around 3 AM where I personally saw someone across from the building staring into my twin brother’s window. That was extremely unsettling and raised serious safety concerns for me. Second, the valet trash service has been a repeated issue. On multiple occasions, trash has either been ignored completely or handled poorly. The final straw was when a trash bag was ripped open and the garbage was left all over the ground without being cleaned up and all this trash liquid everywhere. Now my apartment smells so bad outside. I’ve also personally seen workers look at the trash and simply walk away. The maintenance issues are another major frustration. Elevators in both the parking garage and inside the building are frequently out of service, and the parking garage always seems to be under repair, which sometimes makes finding parking difficult even though it’s already a long walk. I’ve also heard repeated complaints from other residents about pest issues, even from people who keep their apartments very clean. On top of that, there’s often dog waste and trash around the property, which makes the overall cleanliness disappointing. And if you’ve lived here, you already know the building layout can feel like a maze when trying to get to your apartment. I understand every place has issues, but after dealing with repeated problems and hearing similar complaints from others, I personally would not recommend living here.
