Edge at 1702

Not a very pleasant “tour”. After we drove 2 hours from out of town to have a “tour”, we were told that they did not have someone to let me view units, therefore the “tour” was watching videos in the office. This was not told before we booked the tour. The temp at the front told us she had only been working there for 3 weeks and then later said she had been working at the property for 8 years. This made us a little untrusting. Then we were told it’s because this property has been sold and bought multiple times. After asking a resident if they liked the property and asking if they got an in person tour they said yes they had an in person tour. The temp told us we were “bothering” the residents and said we weren’t allowed to ask questions to residents. The resident even offered for us to view her unit and the temp said that is against policy and she was going to ask us to leave if we kept “bothering and harassing” the resident. Overall, left a very bad impression and so disappointed in the customer service. I would personally not live here just due to the way we were treated.

Absolutely disgusting place. My girlfriend moved over here about 3 months ago and I’ve never seen more trash, bugs, and broken things in one place in my life. Not to mention we got stuck in an elevator 2 weeks into her being there and only got out from someone hearing us in the parking garage (no service in elevators) and it’s still broken too this day. Laughable at the management. They do not care about you.

Steer clear of this place...as of 6/22/26 this is their garbage situation. When we called the office, they said the employee that manages this was on vacation. Now the entire complex smells like a landfill and we still do not know when it will be cleaned. They are too cheap to hire a service for garbage and instead rely on 1 person to manage this. Our AC unit has stopped working 5-6 times in the last 2 weeks and the service worker that came to "fix" it was using youtube videos for instructions. We did not renew our lease and will be RUNNING from this place. Do NOT rent here.

- Trash problems (builds up in the trash room and ROTS IN THE FLORIDA HEAT so residents smell it as soon as they walk outside of their door). Can see the two pictures below for yourself. One is from a year ago, and one is from today (6/22/26). So much for "preventing this for future residents" when I initially complained a year ago. - Elevators are on-and-off non-functional with limited information provided to residents regarding a timeline of when the repair will be done - Half of the key fobs & doors don't work - Gate to the garage doesn't work and hasn't the entire time I lived here. Safety issue. - No security cameras whatsoever throughout the entire property because they're considered an "amenity" so be prepared to have packages stolen - For the first few months of living here, the entire complex's fire alarm would go off multiple times throughout the week. This has been resolved but was infuriating at the time - I've had someone come 8+ times in the past two weeks to repair my AC and they have been unsuccessful every time. One of the maintenance guys was watching youtube while attempting to repair my AC.
