Aurora Apartments

Loraine, the leasing office agent who I’ve been dealing with for my move in process has been amazing so far. Everytime I’ve needed anything she’s always been super responsive and helpful. She goes out of her way to make sure things get done. Thank you Loraine :)

Today I experienced the worst apartment tour I’ve ever had. Hands down. And Aurora was my top choice for an apartment and I was intending to sign a lease today. My mom and I show up and I’m the first escorted tour of the day at 10am. We get there a few minutes early; no one from the leasing office is present. 10am - still no one. I text the AI bot and it’s not helpful at all. I call the leasing office phone number and it’s the AI bot again - basically, I cannot get through to a human being. I wait. A girl who is moving in today (+ her mom) walks in. She needs her keys. We’re all waiting. 10:15 am - the leasing lady finally walks in. She does not address any of us, no hello, no nothing. “Are you with the leasing office?” We ask. She replies yes. She says she’ll be right back and she goes to a back closet or something. I don’t know what she’s doing. I’m stressed because I have an 11am tour scheduled at another building, today is my only day to look at apartments, so time is precious. I tell the leasing lady this. The girl + her mom still haven’t gotten access to her apartment keys and her movers are showing up at 11 so those two are also getting impatient (valid). Time passes and it’s now 10:30am. The girl’s mom asks the leasing lady why she was late. The leasing office lady unapologetically says “we typically open late.” Hate to be dramatic but I’m shocked. It’s like she’s in her own world. Another guy is now downstairs and he’s also moving stuff into the building, and he needs assistance from her too. This leasing office lady is visibly overwhelmed at us despite creating the issue. Thankfully at this point the girl and her mom got the apartment keys after asking several times. Finally my mom and I can tour - it’s 11:40am. We have ten minutes to tour (to account for the 10 min drive to the next apartment tour). We + the leasing lady get to the door of the model apartment. The door cannot unlock with the fob. In the meantime, my mom asks if there are any 2 bed 2 baths available for lease today. She says no. I am shocked hearing this because that’s the entire reason why we’re here. While I was waiting for her to show up earlier, I had double checked the website and it said there were 2B2bas available for lease today. We decide to leave and go to our next tour. We did not come back and I signed a lease with a different apartment building today. Also, I’ve never been in an apartment building where the fobs are INSIDE the amenity rooms. Meaning you can open the door to the gym without a fob, but to exit, you need to use your fob. If you don’t have a fob, you are locked inside. This is very strange. When I first entered the building, I needed to use the bathroom in the lobby and I got locked inside. Thankfully my mom was there to open the door, but if I were on my own, I would have been locked inside without being able to contact anyone in the building. And certainly not the leasing office since they’re impossible to reach.

Facilities are amazing and the staff is beyond accommodating they are extremely helpful and reasonable super kind Adam and his team are incredible and I would genuinely recommend anyone to look at moving here
