Atlas at Bay Point

Living here has been an absolute nightmare for me. It’s the worst place I have ever lived. Also the first place I had to ever terminate a lease. On move in day, I had to hire a cleaning service because the place was so dirty. The fridge/freezer had bugs that never went away even when maintenance tried cleaning it. It took one week of arguing with them until they gave me a replacement. A couple months later, my a/c broke. It was running 24/7 blowing warm air so I shut it off. When I went to work, they would turn it back on without my consent and my electric bill sky rocketed. They kept saying it was fixed but the temperature in my apartment never went below 80 degrees. This went on for THREE MONTHS until I called the city, contacted a lawyer, and gave them official papers withholding rent money until it was fixed. The a/c was magically fixed that same week…. Don’t even get me started on how thin the walls are. I can hear my neighbors clear as day. Their conversations I can hear word from word. One neighbor I can hear snoring so loud it’s like she’s in the bed with me. The neighbor next to me has subwoofers in his apartment and my place is constantly shaking and I can’t hear my own tv. I have multiple videos to prove how bad the noise is that I would be more than happy to show anyone. The noise you can hear from outside is just as worse. Which brings me to my next complaint…. There are multiple kids running around and screaming throughout the hallways and grounds. They throw rocks at the buildings and leave them on the sidewalks so people trip. They bang bats/sticks on the buildings and peoples doors. They stare into other people’s windows. The kids throw dirt from the planters all over the place. The washers/dryers here are always broken which forces me to do to my laundry elsewhere. (See photo below) When you’re lucky enough to do your laundry here, the rooms are so filthy. (See photo below) There’s always drugs in the laundry room too. There was actually a time someone threw their dirty pillow in with my clothes just so they could save some money. The breezeways/stairwells are filled with garbage. The curtain rod for your shower is just a tension rod that always falls. Bugs get in through the balcony door because the building isn’t properly sealed. My downstairs neighbors are constantly running back and forth and rearranging their furniture every day. The list goes on and on. It’s embarrassing bringing people over here. They’ve been through 3 different managers in my short time here if that tells you anything. DON’T RENT HERE. Don’t say I didn’t warn you….

If I could give this place a zero I would. I have had so many issues with management. I had a roach infestation that they did not take care of, until two months had gone by. I had my air conditioning broken for three months, that management said was not a priority and living in Florida it is definitely a priority as my apartment was always at 80 degrees or higher . Princess, the manager of the complex was very rude and unhelpful, she was not understanding of my issues with the apartment and would gaslight me as if the issue was fixed but it never was. The communication was horrible, I was constantly trying to get into communication with them and would have to reach out multiple times as they would ignore my work orders. I do not recommend living here.

Rude office. Poor management. Gross dirty laundry rooms. Kids come in and smoke pot on the stairs and in laundry rooms. Trashy place.

My husband and I have been living at Atlas for a year and a half, and it has been a truly enjoyable experience. The place is very well maintained, it's quiet, the staff is incredibly friendly, and it feels like home. We have had a few maintenance issues in the apartment, but the staff has been very helpful and has tried to resolve them immediately, maintaining constant communication and following up until the problem was fixed.

My experience staying at Atlas has been neutral. I do like that the site officiants are friendly and try to make staying at Atlas more comfortable and lively. I definitely enjoy the gym. Although the air doesn’t circulate that well I still enjoy it because you really get your sweat on.
