I lived at 5 West for 1.5 years and had a great experience there! The office staff is very friendly and always helpful. The location near the airport was convenient. The location also made it easy to get anywhere in Tampa within 15/20 minutes! Also, seeing all the ducks around the complex was my favorite.

Living here has been an absolute pleasure. The property is always clean and well maintained, and the location is really convenient! The leasing office team is very friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond if anything is needed. Iโm happy to call 5 West Apartments home and would highly recommend it!

Very good valued units for the area. As someone in the industry, I appreciate the attentiveness of the leasing staff. Nice business center and pool area! Enjoyed my tour very much.

I moved into this apartment with hope โ like the first episode of a telenovela, where everything looks beautiful and full of promise. Unfortunately, the story quickly turned into pure chaos. Letโs start with management. No matter how many times you explain an issue, report a problem, or ask for help, it feels like youโre talking to a wall. Concerns are ignored with impressive consistency, as if tenant complaints simply donโt exist in their world. Parking is another tragic chapter. You pay extra for an exclusive parking spot, only to find out that โexclusiveโ means absolutely nothing. Anyone can park there, and there is no number to call, no towing service, no solution. Youโre left watching someone else enjoy the spot you pay for, night after night. Then comes the surprise plot twist: hidden fees. When itโs time to move out, suddenly charges appear that were never explained when signing the lease. Fees with no clear justification, adding up as if the goal is to squeeze every last dollar out of you โ logic not included. Security? Access? Doors? None of them work properly. Entry codes fail, doors donโt open, and youโre left wondering if you live in a โgated communityโ or just an illusion of one. Maintenance deserves its own dramatic arc. You submit a request, they show up, say โitโs fine, weโll fix it,โ and then disappear forever โ like a character written out of the show. The problem remains, unchanged, while your patience slowly fades. And the amenities? The barbecues never work. Ever. They exist only for decoration, like props on a set. This place sells comfort and delivers frustration. What could have been a peaceful home turns into a never-ending drama where the tenant always loses. If you enjoy stress, confusion, and feeling unheard, this might be the place for you. Otherwise, consider this your warning before the next episode begins.

A bitter experience at 5 West Apartments. I left the apartment ready for rent. But here's my story of the two years I've lived here. 1. On the third day I moved in, the police killed a man. The office couldn't clearly explain what happened (2023). The apartment was covered in wood for many months. 2. The parking is horrible; many people live in the apartments, and without many cars, there's no control. There are also abandoned cars. 3. The elevator breaks down six times, one in three months and another in five months. 4. Amazon packages are stolen from the doors. 5. The gates are open during the day. 6. They vomit in the elevators.(photo) 7. There are mountainous cigarettes in the parking lot. 8. The hallways are dirty and filled with animals. 9. They voted for my checklist (2023) 10. On two occasions, the fire alarm went off at 10 p.m. in building 4, and it happened twice, to the point that I had to sleep in a hotel. Management took no responsibility despite being responsible and having no recourse. 11. In the middle of summer they decide to close the pool for a month for repairs (June 2025) 12. It's expensive and not worth what it costs at all. 13. Like me, there are many who want to terminate their contract and get out of this nightmare of a complex. 14. Dog feces, accumulated garbage, and your apartment neighbors smoking marijuana in broad daylight. Some good and some don't care at all, in the office Among other things... I finally got out of here to a safe and clean place. I'm worried about those who come and live through this bitter experience. Don't get caught up in being close to the airport.๐๐๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ
