This complex offers a convenient location with easy access to campus and local amenities, boasting spacious floor plans and often a quiet atmosphere. While many appreciate the responsive staff and quick maintenance, some students have found the rent to be a bit high for the unit quality, and there have been occasional concerns about older appliances and inconsistent amenity upkeep.

The property manager, Jenna, is super friendly and helped me a lot with settling in and answering all my queries about the property and utilities.

Iβve had a great experience living here so far! The property is always clean, well-maintained, and has a really nice atmosphere. Management is professional, helpful, and quick to respond whenever anything comes up, which makes living here stress-free. Another big plus is the location β itβs super convenient and really close to campus, which makes getting to classes and around town very easy. Overall, itβs a great place to live if you want a comfortable community with a great management team. I definitely recommend it!

Edit 7 (Jan, 2026): Most of the criticism in my past edits are still true but the current maintenance and management teams headed by the leasing manager Jenna are all nice and helpful w.r.t work orders, etc. Edit 6 (Jun, 2023): New owners, new management and maintenance team. It is still somewhat overpriced but the new management and maintenance teams are very helpful and try to get work orders completed as soon as possible. Edit 5 (Oct, 2022): They made my earlier feedback so relevant by increasing rent significantly once again. But finally they completed all my work orders (maybe better late than never??). Now the primary leasing manager is here and the management is at least slightly better. Edit 4 (Jun, 2022): The nice management team is gone in a flash. The new people don't seem to care about anything at all. Gym AC not working for 10+ days, work orders for units pending for more than a month. It's quite a mess. Edit 3 (Apr, 2022): They again have a new, very good and helpful maintenance as well as management teams but it is still overpriced if the price hike is considered. Edit 2 (Oct, 2021): If you are either willing to be happy with exponentially increasing leasing rates every year or happy to be changing apartments every year, this is the best place for you. Edit 1 (June, 2021): All of the good things mentioned below were applicable for last year. The management has changed now and even though the locality is still good look at some of the latest reviews to understand why I brought down the rating by 1 star. I would not want to ask the management multiple times for any maintenance requests I have. Also, they confused some friends about how the referral process works and we ended up without any bonuses even though my friends signed a new lease. Initial review (2020): Very friendly and courteous staff at the leasing office. They take prompt actions to maintenance requests. Decided at once to lease the apartment after touring with their representative. Rates are slightly high for the 1 bed 1 bath but the apartment's floor plan is really well planned. The 2 bed 2 bath pricing is good. In fact they allow sharing of the apt and the living room is huge, so might consider sharing a 1b 1b which is a great option.

π¨ University Square Apartments is a nightmare. Theyβre old, musty and outdated. They still donβt have a mail delivery system going on 2 years now. Several packages lost by the front office. Not to mention they CHARGE their residents to park in their own parking lot. Best advice STAY AWAY. They cost too much for the horrible accommodations. Everyone I know is NOT renewing their lease. Regarding the mailβ¦.I have had two tracked packages missing from the βsecureβ closet where they store mail. Itβs a joke. The additional money for parking was added after the lease was signed and we were threatened with towing my car if we didnβt agree to sign the contract with the towing company. Avoid this horrible place.
