Sunrise Place

As a representative of the Refuge House Domestic Violence Association i went to the office to grab an application for someone upon my arrival i had already called to make sure applications were available outside office where I was told they would be located, well when i arrived thier wasnt any applications in the outside box,I knocked on office door and was met with a woman she was black and had a shaved head (no hair) ....i didnt get her name but she was VERY rude..and had the nastiest attitude..i literally had to beg her to get an application for me i had literally traveled from another side of town to grab the application and was told she couldn't give me one or go look to see if thier was one available because she was on the phone and she slammed door in my face..i knocked again and another woman came to door she was nice and she told me to give her a few minutes and she showed back up with the application..if the property owner ever get to read this please reconsider the lady with the bald/shaven head as a representative of your apartments she was not Only disrespectful to me,she also refused to accept someone else application who had showed up the same time i showed up at the apartments....However if the woman im talking about ever gets a chance to read this you should be ashamed of yourself and oneday you will stand before God and will be judged for your actions. I will not be returning there. and definitely will be reporting to code enforcement how disgusting the neighborhood looks trash everywhere.

This is a horrible place to live. HUD needs to take there funds away. The landlords are rude, the apartments keeps switching management, you can’t get in touch with corporate, and the landlords be stealing money from the residents. Your AC/ heat and sewer is always back up. There are a lot of roaches in all the apartments. How do I know, I had to get removed from my apartment by the city of Tallahassee because of mold, no hot water, and the utilities closet in my was filled with water for two weeks. So, moving forward I had a package delivered to Sunrise apts at 107. The post office said my package was delivered in the mailbox. I went the person apt at 107 and my package was not there. I went to the leasing office to ask the leasing agent Shawanna L. Greene if my package was there on September 3, 2025 around 10am. Shawanna said the office is closed. Then I said I had a package delivered over here by accident. She said doesn’t have time and is not going to stop what she is doing to help me. She attempted to close the door in my face. We exchange words and she said you are not getting your package now. The next day I sent my Godson in the leasing office to avoid conflict. A secretary told my godson I would have to come in. I go in and Shawanna comes out and says you’re not getting your package and you are going to get a trespassing order, if I come back on the property. I called the police on Shawanna. My package is still missing. The police officer and the post office said either the tenant has my package or the landlord. At the end of the day, Reorder from another company to get my item shipped to the right address. I did an addressed change last year. Don’t move over to Sunrise Place.
