Nine 31 Apartments

I love living here, the amenities are great and awesome to socialize. The location is great and I like taking walks around the southern area. The maintenance team is top notch, and they fix any issues (if any) super fast. Reese provides amazing support to navigate a good experience and Brandon the property manager is very nice and treats me well, along with everyone on the staff such as Sam and Fefi.

I’ve visited this complex a few times, it’s quite wonderful. The outdoor amenities are to die for, and provide ample opportunities for socialization amongst other community members. There’s also a hot tub!

WiFi is always out. I live Gainesville to go to school, and I can't even do my assignments where I live because theres never access to the internet. Wanna watch a football over the weekend? Sorry, WiFi out. Wanna throw on a movie on a Tuesday night? Sorry, WiFi out. Additionally, there's no windows that open at all. You can't get any fresh air into the unit so it just becomes stale after a while. Also, the pool/hot tub closes at 7, so if you have things to do during the day like most people, you'll probably never be able to access this amenity which is tough because it's very nice. Location is nice in theory, but the noise outside of Checkers/University area on the weekends literally shakes the unit until as late as 3 am. I would not recommend signing here.

As of writing this, the WiFi has been out for 31 continuous hours. This is not the first WiFi outage I have had to deal with since moving here earlier this fall. What a disaster. Every one or two weeks there is an outage, and neither I nor any of the other tenants have been compensated for it. And this isn’t even mentioning the state the apartment was in when I got here. Or the laughably poor water pressure. I can live with those things. But these regular internet outages are completely ridiculous. STAY AWAY!!!

Worst apartment management !! I don't even want to give 1 star but don't have an option. We are very disappointed with the management here. Items were stolen from my son’s apartment, and despite sending multiple emails to management, we received no response. I also tried to reach them over the phone but unable to reach. Residents deserve safety, accountability, and at the very least, timely communication. This lack of responsibility is extremely concerning, and we cannot recommend this place to others until management improves their responsiveness and security. Update for management comment ------------------------------------------------------- I have been continuously following up with Brandon regarding this issue and have already provided him with all the necessary details. These are not small items that could have been easily misplaced — even large items such as the living room rug and chair are missing. Such items would have clearly been visible on camera if the security system had been properly set up. It has been more than two months, and I have not received any proper resolution. Now, I am being informed that this is not Nine31’s responsibility. If that is the case, I would like to understand what level of safety and security Nine31 provides to students and their belongings. Moreover, since the key fob is accessible only to management, what assurance do we have that the missing items were not removed by someone within the management without our knowledge? I definitely would like to take legal action on this issue.
