Embassy Suites by Hilton Boca Raton

I had breakfast at the hotel on Saturday morning. I did not eat anywhere else since then - all food I consumed was from the hotel. On Saturday evening, I became extremely ill with what appears to have been food poisoning, including severe vomiting and a high fever that continued for the rest of my stay until I checked out on Monday. This was one of the worst Hilton experiences I have ever had. The condition I experienced was extremely concerning, and I strongly recommend that the hotel’s kitchen operations, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards be thoroughly reviewed and inspected by the appropriate authorities. A very disappointing and unacceptable experience for a Hilton property. 1 star goes to the front desk who was kind and helpful. other than that - would not recommend staying there.

This is not the best hotel. This place suffers from age, from a lack of workers, and from underpaying the workers it has. The couch groans when you sit on it. The bed nearly flips if you sit on the foot to put on shoes. The bathroom sink water pressure is non existent. But the shower is excellent, if moldy. For breakfast, the omelette chefs are unfriendly and the food is not replenished 30 mins before the buffet closes. What is more, the soda fountain was inoperable and there was no sign indicating it. When we checked in, there was no hand soap, and I had to go down to get it because the front desk worker was alone. The windows are not well sealed. Someone was on their balcony smoking pot and our whole room smelled like it. I am a deep sleeper, but the smell woke me up, followed by over an hour of singing. On a Sunday night. The lack of seals makes this place a real crap shoot. I’d look to the hotels next door.

first I went to the room the a/c not working I have to wait one hour so they can fix it they need to remodel those rooms the carpet sold and dirty all the lamp got roattedand to many cockroaches and the breakfast was cold and the bacon and the sausage is in side the kitchen not on the buffet

Interesting experience. Room was clean and comfortable but dated. The upper floors all seem dark and in need of the upcoming renovations. Staff was pleasant and professional. Only negative for me was the pantry which was completely out of everything. If your into happy hour the lobby during the evening is lively and busy but couldn't be heard upstairs. Overall not bad for the price but it would have to be an exceptional reason for me to choose to stay here again.

At time of check in our room wasn’t ready until 3 hours later. The room hadn’t been cleaned. Couldn’t get room service until 2 days later after asking continuously. The 3 people at the front desk had very poor customer service. Wish I could upload my photos from the experience.
