Drake Midtown

As a resident, I am pretty impressed with the attentiveness of the staff and the friendly atmosphere of the community. The complex has a number of resources in and around the buildings. I also appreciate the security measures of the complex. The apartment unit came with all major appliances and has a stellar maintenance team to keep all of them up to date in maintenance and functionality. The only downside is the lack of consideration of the customers and patrons visiting the businesses at the plaza. My unit faces toward the plaza so I hear the traffic and loud car engines. I cant fault the apartment itself for that, my old residence was built in the 1970s out of brick and was very sturdy and I could still hear the traffic. It is what it is. I am blessed to have my place!!! My OWN Place!!!!!

I’ve been in my unit for a little over a week now, and so far my experience has been great! When I was searching for apartments, I honestly never considered living in Lake Mary, but this community popped up while I was in the area and decided to check it out. It ended up having all of my non-negotiables: no carpet, a screened patio, and a top-floor unit. Hillary was amazing to work with. I stopped in at the end of the day without an appointment, and she still took the time to give me a full tour of the property and the actual unit I’d be renting. She totally read me like an open book and knew exactly which unit would fit my needs. I also loved seeing how she interacted with other residents during the tour — it says a lot about the community vibe. She was a huge part of my decision to lease here. I’m excited to settle in more and start using the amenities!

I have lived at this property for over two years and am counting down until my lease ends. Unfortunately, the condition of the property has significantly declined during my time here, to the point where I would prefer to end my lease early rather than continue living here. There have been Winn-Dixie shopping carts left on the property for days, which have now begun to accumulate trash. While the property may appear appealing online, the reality behind the scenes is very different. Management has also made repeated promises regarding improvements, including the installation of a dog park. They haven’t even replaced damaged grass, so the little grass area for my dog is mostly dirt. I have also become increasingly concerned about cleanliness and maintenance. There is used personal hygiene waste in the second-floor parking garage near my parking space, which is unacceptable. While I understand that some areas are shared with the plaza, there should be consistent oversight and maintenance of these shared spaces. I want to note that the cleaning staff and maintenance personnel are kind and professional, but they appear to be overworked and unsupported. Based on my experience and what I have since learned about ZRS Management, I would not recommend this property. Prospective tenants should carefully consider these ongoing issues before committing.

Hillary was awesome!! Me and my fiance originally went in for a self-guided tour but Hillary stepped and took the initiative to show us 4 apartments! She was friendly, personable, and truly made us feel super welcomed and comfortable. Thank you Hillary! -I more than loved your tour! 🩷🩷🩷

Drake complex stole our hearts from day one. We’ve been living in apartment 340 for a year now and we’re happy with everything. The management and service are absolutely amazing — they respond quickly and are always there when needed. And the view of the pool? Just stunning. Thank you for the great service and the chance to be part of your community!
