I do not live here, but I must say that Ryan is a fantastic employee. He gave me a tour of the apartment complex. I toured multiple other complexes and Ryan had the best charisma, welcoming feeling, bright personality. Invested in knowing you as a person and makes the apartment very attractive. Great tour experience

Very dissatisfied with my living situation here. As a student I’m just really frustrated with the quality of the wifi. Me and my roommates have to live on data because the wifi is so weak you’re not able to do anything with it. As a student community it’s ridiculous that instead of spending so much in unnecessary events and things you’re not putting more of your budget towards the internet. The maintenance guy is super nice but there’s is not much he can do when it’s just the internet that simply is so low quality. Really stressful how every night the wifi just randomly disconnects or is too weak to even connect at all.

I would not recommend living here when me and my roommate first moved in we were told our apartment would be ready by our lease. Then we received calls saying we have to stay in a 4x2 until it is done which stayed in for a month with no reduced rent or refund for the time there, and we now have had to completely pack our things as if we were moving out because they want to do renovations, painting, and the flooring all at different times months apart from each other. This place has no care about their tenants and is overpriced for it.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Do not choose to live here. My daughter lives in an apartment here this year as she is trapped in a contract, but has a different apartment for next year. Within less than 2 weeks of moving in, the toilet started overflowing into the bedrooms ruining the new bathroom rugs and making the already dirty carpet disgusting. Of course, this was Labor Day weekend, so no staff at the complex, and the management provided no 24 hour maintenance phone number. You fill out a form online if it actually loads… they still did not come until Tuesday, so for 3 days the two college students in the apartment had no functioning bathroom. The toilet still overflows every week to two weeks if they use the bathroom. They have taken to using any public restroom they can find to avoid the constant issues. The complex refuses to do anything to fix the issue. It is completely unacceptable, but the management does not care. Another issue just came up after the semester break started a few days ago. For a complex that only services college students, they don’t seem to care about the college schedule. After break began and I can only assume most students left for the winter break, they send an email that they will work on the parking lot during the break and will tow cars at owners expense if they aren’t moved. Not helpful when you are literally already half the world away. When my daughter called the office and notified them that her car can’t be moved as she is overseas with family, they told her that her car will be towed elsewhere on property and she can find it when she gets back. This is again, unacceptable. While it is probably best to do with fewer cars there, the communication should have occurred before students left. Learn from our mistakes and do not rent or allow your student to rent at this complex, you will regret it!

Reducing my rating to one star. I came to visit my son and go out to dinner as a family and returned to no available visitor parking. Employee at the front told me to wait and drive around until a spot opens. I never had this problem at Northgate Lakes, which offers plenty of visitor parking. So my husband has to sit in the car all night to make sure it doesn't get towed. My Initial Experience with The Lofts: Pros & Cons Pros: 1. The apartments are spacious, and the renovated ones are nice. 2. Staff members are generally friendly and try to be helpful. 3. Rent is reasonable compared to other apartments in the area. 4.Conveniently close to the school, with a shuttle that runs through the community. 5. Within walking distance to Publix and YouFit. Cons: 1. During my tour, I was told verbatim: “The Lofts is unique because we change the carpet after every tenant.” That was a major selling point for me, but when I moved in, the carpet was worn and stained. Management later confirmed that the information I was given was wrong. 2. After picking up the keys, another family moving in asked what we thought of our apartment before we had even seen it. We soon understood why. The unit was dirty, and I ended up scrubbing the toilet and shower. The mold in the shower couldn’t be fully removed. Although staff sent a cleaner, nothing was actually done. I documented everything with photos. 3. Visitor parking is a major frustration. Spaces fill quickly, and it seems some residents may be using visitor spots instead of paying for decals. As a visiting parent, I often feel stuck. Once I find a spot, I don’t want to leave until I’m heading home. This is unlike other apartment communities I’ve visited, and it’s an issue management needs to address.
