I want to state facts when I leave this review. I've lived in a roach infested apartment, and it was less stressful than living at Studio Parc. First, Cecelia Fiene addressed my partner by the incorrect name, calling him the name of another resident. This happened multiple times. That let's me know either 1.) you think all black men look the same or 2.) you dont keep up with who you're leasing to. I did commit a lease violation. However, that violation was not given a consequence until 9 months later because she took the word of another resident without discussing anything with me beforehand. When confronted about the manner, Cecelia straight up lied to me and stated she called me the day prior. She then lied again when I asked her about the number I had been communicating with, under McKinley, and said they didn't own that phone number. I showed her evidence on my phone. She quickly recanted stating "she'd look into it," even though SHE was the one I was texting. It took approximately 5+ maintenance work orders for them to realize our air conditioner was broken after leaking for months. The dishwasher was broken upon our arrival, and only after multiple work orders, the maintenance men GAS LIGHTING us saying we must have turned it on despite NEVER using it, we were told that it was indeed broken. There have been multiple police cars on various occasions, even a SHOOTING where nothing was ever addressed, and no evictions were made. I emailed Juan Lassala due to a situation involving my car. It has been over a month. So either I've been ignored, or I've been skipped over. I emailed the office requesting an assisted walk through before I moved out. I was still a resident when I sent that emails. All of this I say this to say: McKinley is a company that allegedly employs racist/ prejudiced people and people who only care about their residents if you've never had any issues with any of the management. Cecelia is referred to as "Cece" by the other employees in that office so that tells me I had absolutely no help anywhere in that office when it came to trying to get anything resolved if it was a grievance to them. If you're black, I highly recommend avoiding McKinley as a whole.
