Roberts Hall

W dorm, and CAT 5 hurricane rated so you're safe

Probably your best bet for the 2nd best freshman housing on campus behind Mary Star, but there are also some major flaws with it as well. Robert Hall has a problem being only freshmans which can start dangerous activities like fights and hate crimes. Its common to hear something bad happening in roberts with the people who are living there. Robert Hall has a rate higher than the Quads (Grissom) but lower than Mary Star with its unique approach to rooms and public restrooms. Robert Hall also has a pretty bad A/C PROBLEM. Once in a couple months in different floors of Robert Halls, the A/C will randomly break and just give high humidity through every room on the affected floor. Since the windows of Robert Halls can't be opened, you are solely depended on the A/C system to control how your room to feel like. Once my room was 82F and it was like it for a full weekend. Bit troublesome nevertheless. The good things about Roberts I would say is the room is way better than Grimmison and somewhat Evans with the room being the biggest traditional room and the middle room of Roberts helped determine the middle space between myself and my roommate (if I had one).

Everyone was very friendly. Felt an ease walking into the building after being informed of their commitment to go above and beyond to make sure that everyone is safe. It was evident that they not only adhered to the covid guidelines but excelled in expectation. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to interact with which made the students feel at home, my son included. Thank you. ❤

Good place to make friends compared to other dorms

Old dorm but not bad if you add your personal touch. Parking directly across the street. Looks like safe area.
