I want to take a moment to share my experience with FirstKey and want others to do their research before renting with this company. I lived at 2409 Brooke side Avenue, Kissimmee and was a responsible tenant throughout my lease. I paid my rent on time, maintained the property, and before moving out, I spent time cleaning the home thoroughly and making sure it was left in good condition. To my surprise, when I requested information about my security deposit, I was charged approximately $1,500 for painting, even though I had already cleaned and prepared the property before leaving. I felt that the charges were unfair and disappointing. Throughout my tenancy, maintenance was also a recurring issue. Technicians were sent to the property, but many repairs were never properly completed. While the customer service representatives were generally polite and helpful when contacted by phone, the actual resolution of maintenance concerns was often unsatisfactory. My biggest concern is the move-out process. In my experience, even when a tenant makes every effort to leave the property clean and in good condition, the company appears to look for reasons to withhold a significant portion of the security deposit. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend renting with this company. I found the process frustrating, unprofessional, and very disappointing. I already sent an email to the company, and to the review and the customer support never answered back. THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!
