I had the best experience renting from Della at Aventine. I was on a tight schedule with a hard deadline and she worked with me to get in by my date of move in and made it a smooth experience.

Blanca was so helpful. We moved from out of the area and her knowledge of the leasing experience made moving a breeze. The property is even nicer than the photos. So grateful to be in walking distance to town. I have found a home. Thank you for your help. Christine

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! I moved into Aventine in March of last year and I am MORE THAN GLAD to say I’m out. There were so many issues while I lived there and there still is. For starters one of my first weeks living in my apartment a maintenance man walked in on me unannounced. I received no notice of the visit and was not even able to answer the door before he came barging in. At the time I had just gotten out of the shower and had no clothes on. Mind you, I was a then 19 year old girl living ALONE. After the incident I called down to the office and the only response the front desk could give me was “he wasn’t supposed to do that”. Next, there were trash shoots that were on every floor. Shortly after I moved in they were all closed and blocked off with caution tape because rats had infested the entirety of each trash shoot. Mind you this is a 55+ living community and the other garbage is all the way by the front gate. All through the time I lived there the elevator broke down multiple times. I would often come home late from work and all the elderly folk with wheelchairs and walkers would be downstairs in the lobby because they couldn’t get to their floors/apartments. Not only that but there were multiple inspections that I got notice for literally a day before they were supposed to happen. I also have pets so this was a struggle for me as I was working full time trying to be able to pay for the RIDICULOUS rent price they have. Next, a few months before my lease ended I noticed a weird smell coming from somewhere in the apartment, it smelled like something was burning and my power kept turning off. I called once down to the front desk, they told me to flip the power back on and i’d be fine. I called again because I was scared my apartment would burn down. When I called again I received attitude from front desk and they then finally sent a maintenance man to help and take a look. While the man was there he turned my power back on and one of the outlets sparked. In the outlet I had a power cord. After this, he took my power cord, put it in the sink and said “well if your apartment burns down just run out” he then left shortly after. About a week later I noticed a GIANT leak coming front the roof. I called the front and they took a look. My wall and the roof had to be fixed. They told me this should only take a week, however it took two and I was paying for wifi I couldn’t even use and received no financial compensation. When moving back into my apartment they did a horrible job cleaning from construction. I had to scrub multiple times to get all of the dust and time off my floors. They had also promised me there was no mold, however there was a huge spot of black on the ceiling that they were made aware about and did nothing about. Lastly, there is ZERO parking, and you will be towed and be made to pay $250 CASH for your car back. They have changed the code to the gate multiple times without any notice on how to get in, and the hot water shuts off at least 2 times a week, and the staff are very rude. If you are looking into renting here for a loved one or yourself DO NOT DO IT. In the forum inside of the tent portal you can find MULTIPLE complains from residents with no response.
