Athens Commons

My experience with this rental company was ....., but it was the first :) And I hope it's the last. The location was good, but I cannot trust this company. They should have cleaned the apartment before I moved in or given me the checklist. They charged extra for cleaning shared areas and even my cleaned room. When I tried to talk about these issues, they still charged me. They charged me for a common area; I know they are good at backing up some lease documents and their assumptions, but I am not responsible. Very disrespectful. Who said immigrants don't contribute? :) I could only think of this additional 200 to 300 dollars to this company as a donation. I don't believe that it's my fault these houses are not complete and partially empty!

I’ve had an amazing experience so far at Athens. I love my room and how the house is set up. I also love how close I am to campus. Every week day I get to sleep in since I’m so close by. The team at Athens has been helpful when I’ve had any concerns or issues.

This has a very nice floor plan. We like that they have individual leases so you’re not responsible for the roommates. It’s so close to Stetson can walk to it. Affordable food pricing, historic scenery and great entertainment for college students to enjoy.

The apartments are a little pricey, but they do good business. It might be hard to get a summer tenant, but they give you fair warning about that before you ever decide to rent. All in all, they do there best to keep their tenants happy. The apartments are way nicer than the ones on campus, and are well maintained. If I ever need to live in Deland again, I will try and rent a property from these guys. And props to Mrs.Jenny (the property manager).

Beautifully maintained complex. Units are very modern and up to date. Convenient location near the college. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
