Look. The building has fun community events and amenities, and the concierge is great (Darien is the best idk if he’s there anymore but I miss him he always knew everyone’s name and would check for me and go above and beyond) anyway.. the quality of the building is all smoke and mirrors. I literally cannot use my kitchen aid mixer (A kitchen appliance!!) without shorting out my power. Maintenance said the unit cannot handle that much energy. That is so mind boggling.. how can I not use a kitchen appliance in my kitchen.. Especially a building of this size that supports hotel and full time residents, how can the power not support a kitchen item in the kitchen.. it has similar voltage to a Dyson air wrap.. That brings me to this morning. The glass in the master bathroom randomly EXPLODED (photo attached). That is incredibly dangerous. Thankfully no tenants were in the bathroom when it shattered (which begs the question how did that even happen), but that is so horrific knowing that someone could be showering when that occurs. The negligence is crazy!! I just don’t understand how this slip in quality could happen, especially with the prices for the units. I expect better quality

Resident here for over a year now, I had to write this review after being helped by the staff members Michelle Pagan and Angel Domenech. Angel Domenech from maintenance is a treasure to the residents. He's caring, competent, and quick. Any time there has been an issue with appliances and the like, he responds right away with a friendly demeanor and proper solutions. He has a great eye for detail too. Michelle Pagan from the administrative office is stellar when it comes to customer service. She underpromises and overdelivers. She responds to any e-mail you send her and knows how to communicate with residents. Her standards of professional courtesy should be an example to the rest of the office staff there. I hope that The Palmer Dadeland does everything they can to retain such amazing staff members.

I visited The Palmer Dadeland recently, and my experience was pretty okay. The location is definitely convenient, and the building looks nice from the outside. Inside, some areas are well-kept, while others could use a little more attention. Overall, it wasn’t bad just not super impressive either. I will say, the best part of my visit was when Concierge Aymee happened to be working. She was really welcoming and made everything feel smoother and more organized. I honestly wish she were there more often, because the vibe is noticeably better when she’s on shift. As a visitor, I’d say The Palmer Dadeland is fine decent overall, but it could feel a lot more inviting with more consistent service and more staff like Aymee.
