Lived here for 5 years since covid times. Aarón the property manager was always super attentive and anytime anything broke or i needed something he was always super responsive. Highly recommended community and great location!

After selling my home and property in Broward county in early 2024, I decided to stay in the South Miami area and initially I was on a 7 month short term at Sunset Club Apartments. This was then quite easily extended month-to-month in which I ended up staying a total of an entire year and a month. I found the Sunset Club Apartment complex to be secure, safe, clean and very well run by Aaron Ojeda the Property Manager and Jacque his key maintenance man. I was in a ground floor one bedroom apartment that had an enclosed screened in area patio facing the inner courtyard area with complex pool area that had 2 outdoor BBQ grills available for the tenants to make use of which I did. It was a Pet friendly apartment complex and midway through my 7 month short term lease I was able to foster a nice size rescued Boxer 🐾 and Mr Ojeda as stipulated by the signed lease made the needed adjustments on my monthly rent payment along with my providing a reasonable non refundable pet deposit. The inner courtyard made it easy to walk an adult Pup that size as well that the apartment complex had like 3 poop stations for the tenants use. While I was there that year they resurfaced the entire road surface, added additional security lights to the parking area and when my wall AC unit died a death one of the months they quickly replaced it with a new one. I found the Property Manager Aaron Ojeda and his team to be very respectful, attentive and responsive… When one hears horror stories when it comes to Property Managers and Apartment tenant relations especially in the end when there’s the possibility of chiseling into one’s Security Deposit funds and especially in Miami-Dade county, at Sunset Club Apartments I fortunately did not experience any of that and have only good things to say about their operation and property overall. Thank you for helping me feel Welcome, Safe and Secure…

They literally reduced the 60min laundry to 45min just to get more money in quarters. I couldn't believe it as they already increased the price of laundry. But THEN to decrease the time on the dryers JUST so we pay more is absurd. To do one load of laundry. Took me $8 as the dryers are extremely bad here. On top of the place bring flooded out so it made it extremely difficult to move clothes as if one thing dropped, ur clothes wld get soaked from the flooding. I want to also mention a strange letter I received in the door that ALL residents vehicles must be in working order. Meaning if you work remotely. And your car appears broken and taking up space, they will fine you? It didn't make sense. Also newcomers expect to pay $1600 for a 1 bedroom that's really worth $800 max. Expect to have a AC unit placed in a random spot that's from the 80s. Zero proper airflow. Place is bad. Getting outta here asap

The good: Aaron the property manager, he is so very kind, humble, and helpful when you ask. The pool is clean and open 24/7 Pets are allowed, even when they bark loudly like mine. Very safe to walk your dogs alone at night even though the lighting is terrible. The neighbors are all very friendly A lot of parking available. The bad: TERMITES, FRUIT FLIES, AND ROACHES are EVERYWHERE. The AC is box AC and only in the living room. This means my bedroom becomes extremely hot. The elevator rarely works. The first floor is dangerously slippery when it rains. Rent here should be 1000 for a 1 bedroom not 1250.

I’ve lived there for 5 years. The apartments are good. The complex is safe. The staff are very helpful. The manager, Aaron, is a good man. I never had a problem.
