This is a disgraceful place to live. The greed is horrendous. They don’t care about their residents at all. During this snow storm, they failed to safely plow the parking lot and the surrounding area in the apartment complex. There is barely anywhere to park. The snow has now frozen over and it’s so dangerous, especially for the young and the elderly. They don’t care because this is considered affordable housing and think the residents won’t say anything and will just accept this. Let’s also not forget about the parking enforcement that makes it so hard for visitors to come and visit their family. I can’t even visit my elderly parents without having to use their stupid ZARK parking app which is the worst platform to use. You have to park in the spot that it tells you to park even if that spot is covered in snow and ice!!! half the time there are plenty of other open spots but you can’t park there because someone didn’t end their parking reservation which goes for minimum 24 hours. You can’t even park there for a few hours and give it up to someone in need because it doesn’t allow you to end the reservation early. The ladies in the office are always kind and look like they want to help but can’t do much because upper management fails to check. This apartment used to have normal parking for visitors and did not charge $10 to park there…let’s also bring up the fact that there are tow trucks just preying on poor residents and their families waiting to eat their hard earned money for the slightest parking issue. This place used to be so much better. Let’s not even discuss the quality and the condition of the apartments and the increase in rent. That’s for a different day. Everyone who plans to renew their lease, I urge you to look somewhere else for the sake of the safety of their families.

The maintenance crew, Alexis and Erik, did an excellent, and timely job in repairing our bathroom sink. As always, their expertise is greatly appreciated

We went to this complex a couple of weeks ago to visit one of my friends, the property is clean and quiet, perfect property to have a family cookout or a night walk with your dog since there’s plenty of light all around the property (: We came back to apply for one apartment as well, unfortunately there was no availability when I applied with my husband but let me just say how easy communication with the office manager is, I think her name is Karima, I apologize if I spelled that wrong. Communication is top notch! Transparency at all times and updates as well… we will re-apply again in the future because I will definitely keep this property in my go-to list when moving out from where I currently live.

The apartments themselves are fine, but I moved out because of the office staff, specifically the manager Karina Melgar. I received a false 21/30 notice, and when I asked for clarification, the staff refused to address it. They also failed to finalize my partner’s emotional support animal (ESA) request, despite us providing everything required. To make matters worse, I was overcharged after moving out without a proper explanation. Because of the lack of professionalism and transparency, I am considering legal advice to protect my rights. Management’s refusal to address the false notice is ultimately why I left.

I recently moved into Potomac Station Apartments, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience! Although the application process presented some challenges, Dennis was incredibly supportive throughout. He exhibited patience, professionalism, and extensive knowledge, which made everything much easier than I expected. The property manager, Karina, is also wonderful. She is very friendly and keeps the property in excellent condition. I appreciate that both Dennis and Karina are bilingual, speaking English and Spanish, which made communication seamless for me. I am truly thankful to have found such a fantastic property and an exceptional staff. I highly recommend Potomac Station Apartments to anyone searching for a great place to live! Diana Arias
