Portofino Apartments

A year ago, water was thrown on the stairs. They're filthy with accumulated trash, and it seems like nobody notices. Every year the rent goes up, but nothing is improved in the apartments; all the equipment is old.

We've been living in this condo for 10 months and haven't been happy. It's a very old building with many problems. The worst part is that you report a problem or a leak, and days, even months, go by without anyone coming to fix anything. We were without water in the kitchen for over two months. I reported it five times, and it was only fixed because we spoke to the maintenance person personally. Now, we reported a leak 20 days ago that's keeping part of the floor (carpet) wet, and still no one has come to look at it. To top it all off, the toilet in the master bedroom won't flush, and the refrigerator makes an annoying noise. I'm wondering when they'll finally come after I report it. 2777 Apt. 303
