Ambergate Apartments

everything about these apartments are horrible. They break the law due to the fact that some of their tenants don’t know their rights. The leasing agents don’t even know what is written in the lease to follow the legal agreement we make while signing a lease. Their apartments are INFESTED and pest only comes when it’s requested and all they do is put sticky tabs . Lived here for two years still infested . I had multiple maintenance issues (mold ,leak , water bubbles , floor lifting ) and they did absolutely nothing until I wrote to higher management about it . I made a point in letting them know they could be sued because of infestation and hidden mold (maintenance painted on top of mold to cover ) and my child’s high risk health issues. Yankelky doesnt care about anything but Making sure people pay rent so they get a pay check. They don’t care about the residents because they don’t live in your unit so it’s not their problem. And when you make it a problem they start to target you and soon say they can’t renew your lease due to “remodeling “ The customer service is horrible and nobody knows what they’re doing. Judging by the reviews they need to be completely shut down and revamped because your company puts families at danger. I have email after email of lies from the manager and not knowing the lease …. She really don’t care about anyones problem. Like not a humane bone her body. Once I started having issues with my apartment and put it a dozen work orders I realize I better move sue or I’ll lose my life and my child life in these conditions. Shame on the management team and the owners for allowing this property to be ran this way. THEY SAID THEY WERE REMODLING THE APARTMENTS JUST TO KICK OUT TEANTS AND CHAGE THAT SAME INFESTED APARTMENT FOR 1800. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TRUST ME DONT DO IT

I lived here for about a year and three months . Only reason why I am still living here is due to the inflation and rent prices going ridiculously high . At first they were very attentive to the maintenance request and problems that arises in the apartment but I started to notice I have the same issues happening over and over again . The maintenance men fix for temporary fix .there an infestation problems with roaches and fleas (my moms dogs came to visit and left with flees ) . I invested my own money into fixing the roach problems but it seems to never work Because if the investigation on the other apartment . My toilet/ sink been leaking urine forever now . They came three times to fix the problems. And only put more rubber on the toilet so it doesn’t leak but if you take a shower and step out , the leakage will start again with URINE, my heater had damp bubbles on the wall which indicated leakage . They decided to patch it up and LEAVE the work they made just like that . Once again they cover the problem. It don’t fix the problem . I also been asking for a bigger apartment since I moved in and they had a few but every time I try to get into one they said it’s taken … but it’s on the website still . Honestly just disappointed especially for the rent that I pay it’s not worth it .

Don’t move here! Roaches even with a super clean apartment. Had to pay 175 down at hulett and then 80 every two months just to keep the bugs out. Had dead animals die under the foundation of the apartment and management casually sends maintenance to take the dead animals out we could t breathe inside. The parking lot floods every-time it rains. This place is cheaper but trust me it’s terrible

Horrible place!! Management is rude, uncaring and never answer their phone or return calls. Our AC hasn't worked good for months. When we tell them it's sweltering hot in apartment, they reply in a condescending manner, "Well, You know, it's summer"? Really!!?? My car is infested with roaches because I parked next to dumpster. Dumpster always over flowing. (see photo). Very bad drainage, so I have to wade through deep water to get to car. We asked management to remove this junk around dumpster because hurricane Dorian is coming, so it doesn't start blowing around hitting cars. They said they would, but they didn't. Bottom line, don't live here.

This is a cheap place to live that lets all kinds of people move in. Office doesn't really care about anything that goes on here, and never knows anything about the people who are hired to do work around the land. The people who live here are mostly loud and they don't care about anyone else's feelings. But they offer month to month leasing, and the apartments are great for one or two people. You get what you pay for though, so keep that in mind.
