We recently moved out after living here for three or four years. We loved living here. For the price, the apartments were amazing. Super spacious. A little dated, sure, but for as cheap as they are in central FL you would expect a lot worse than they are. We didnt really use the amenities so I wont speak to those. I loved the walking paths and there are plenty of dog stations scattered throughout. When I moved in I had a dog and even if I forgot to bring bags, extra bags were never far away and always stocked. The maintenance team was fast, courteous, professional, and friendly. Once, our AC went out late on a Friday night in the dead of summer. We forgot there was an emergency maintenance line and submitted the request through the main portal. They still came to our rescue the next day to make sure us and our two cats were safe!! The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Its tucked away off the main road a bit so you don't have random people coming and going and dumpster diving like Ive had at other apartments in the area. I never felt unsafe walking around at night like I have at other apartments in the area. The only reason we left was to pursue new opportunities in a different state. If we'd stayed in the area, we'd have lived at the Preserve until the day we bought a house. Thank you all for everything!

I have loved living at the Preserve at Lake Wales for 5 years. Management has been absolutely wonderful throughout the years, quickly resolving any concerns and working with us. Our AC unit was replaced when it began malfunctioning and whenever we had issues with bugs they quickly took care of it. During Hurricane Irma, not only did the power not go out when the rest of the street's went out but actual damage to the buildings appeared very minimal. The price to rent for the amount of space you get is an incredible deal. We're very sad to be leaving this ideal place but are having to relocate due to our child's schooling. If you're considering living here, I highly recommend giving it a try! You won't be disappointed. We've rented from many places and this one has been the best, by far. We're going to miss living here. I'm editing my comment to ask management where the rest of my deposit is. There was a problem after we left in that we did not receive our correct deposit and this has not been resolved. For that reason I'm changing my 5 stars to a 2, because it was not handled properly. If they follow through and issue us the deposit like they said they would months ago, I will change it back.

Nice place, but they are managing it into the ground. They raise rent at an unaffordable rate. You can hear everything upstairs. The whole place is built over a swamp. The patio was sinking. You have no hope of getting your deposit back, even if the place looks better than you left it. They promised me they would clean the carpet, they never did, they charged me for a new carpet. They charged me for a stain on the garage floor that was already there. They will add a decorating fee and make up a fictional fee until they reach and exceed your deposit. They don't even accept direct deposit or debit card payments in 2017. The whole deal felt shady. After three years, it kept getting worse with no signs of improvement.
