I had an absolutely amazing experience with Chavonne, the concierge. From the moment we spoke, she was extremely professional, welcoming, and attentive. She took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and made sure I understood everything clearly, which I truly appreciated. What really stood out was how Chavonne went above and beyond to be helpful. She didn’t just do the basics—she made sure I felt comfortable, informed, and well taken care of throughout the entire experience. Her positive attitude, patience, and dedication to excellent customer service made a lasting impression. Chavonne is a true asset, and her professionalism and kindness made my experience exceptional. Ever since the most recent management has came in, the concierge service has been impeccable. Chavonne Belgrave Is consistently professional, polite, and warm in her interactions with me and my wife. I have also observed her being consistently, generous and polite with other residents as well. She provides top-notch world class service. She is definitely a gem!

We lived at the Strand in downtown Jacksonville for 6 months while looking for our new home here. We found it online and bought it based on the location and views, proximity to work, and amenities. And we loved our experience here! Everyone on the staff are competent, friendly, and professional. The concierge staff often knew your name and always had a friendly greeting for you. Even Sharon Norfleet learned the names of our dogs and greeting them when we walked by! She was the first staff member we met when we finished our cross country drive and needed keys and information late at night. She was so welcoming and helpful. It is fitting she is the person we return our keys to after moving out. We loved the multiple events that the Concierge team threw - making candles, yoga by the pool, and holiday meal, Christmas trees and wrapped presents by the lobby. Shout out to Denitra and Chavonne too. Sarah from the leasing office was so accommodating and always had her door open to the residents. Martin as the head of maintenance was also great to work with - responsive and friendly. My dryer was making a weird sound and after confirming something was wrong, they installed a new one the next day. You may choose to live here for various reasons but the wonderful people here will keep you happy here.

I would like to leave a heartfelt review for Denitra McNish and Sarah Janasek. Denitra, the concierge, is always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. She truly treats every resident like family. No matter the situation, she is always polite, attentive, and ready to help. Even outside of working hours, if assistance is needed, Denitra never hesitates to stay a little longer and make sure everything is taken care of. Her dedication and kindness truly make a difference in our community. Sarah, the Assistant Manager, is equally amazing. She is extremely polite, professional, and efficient. There has not been a single issue that she couldn’t resolve quickly. Sarah handles any problem promptly and always finds a solution, even when she is very busy. Her ability to manage situations calmly and effectively is truly impressive. Thank you both for your outstanding work, care, and commitment. You make living here a wonderful experience!

I moved to The Strand on the Southbank after living in a 5 bedroom home on the water for 30 years. Needless to say I was apprehensive, but after the difficult move…I have found and love my new home in a quiet building surrounded by an active vibrant community. The staff in leasing- Sarah, Renard and Jennifer- were instrumental in my decision and in making my move a success. The concierge staff- Chavonne, Sharon and Denitra were/are my key to feeling welcomed by answering endless questions, showing me the processes and just giving a simple smile and pleasant greetings everyday. The building is spotless and inviting thanks to the efforts of Annie and Vee who are always Very pleasant and helpful. And last but not least, the maintenance team led by Marvin is quick to react and to resolve issues timely, therefore, I no longer have to worry about maintenance issues (what a relief!). The weekly activities, including game nights, pet costume contests, turkey bingo, food/charity drives and other fun planned events help keep me engaged and not alone in The Strand community. The Strand is very tastefully festive for the holidays and I anticipate lots of fun holiday activities. If you are looking for a new “home” in an upscale Quiet community, The Strand should be an option.
