Kendall Lake Apartments

I will update this review as needed to reflect my experience as time goes on! As of 9/18; I moved in this week and am so far thrilled with this community! The gate issue seems to have been resolved, as they are closed every time I have been here. The apartment was clean upon move-in and had new carpets which is very appreciated. Everything is in working condition and the amenities are great! Having the valet trash has been so convenient. The construction for the improvements being made are a bit unsightly but it's all in the name of progress, I suppose. There must be some issue with the balconies as most are inaccessible at the moment and some are supported by external supports. This is reflected in a concession in the rent but I would prefer a bit more off the rent for the lack of terrace. As long as they do not raise the rent when I renew the lease I'll let it go lol. The pool is gorgeous, the lake is serene, and the community is quiet. If you can look past the construction (it really doesn't bother me as they haven't gotten to my side yet) and are looking for a quiet, safe neighborhood, this is a great bet! Very spacious units. Make sure to see yours before you move in, as they may not have it available yet when you tour and some have different lighting or views. Our unit is unobstructed by trees and the natural light from the huge windows is to die for. I truly feel at home here and I hope it remains that way!

I have lived here for 2yrs and so far everything is good except the patios on the bottom floors are not accessible ……..

This place feels very misleading. They charge high application fees but don’t actually have any apartments available to view. Every time I asked, I was told nothing was ready to be seen, yet they still wanted me to apply and pay upfront. It makes the whole process seem like a scam, since it’s impossible to know what you’re applying for. Be very cautious before giving them any money — it doesn’t feel transparent or trustworthy

The front office deactivated the whole other side of the apartments codes to get in the gate to pay rent or use the gym and thought this was a good idea. Without notifying anyone!
