Heritage Deerwood

I have not received my deposit back , and it has been 2 and half month so far since I moved. They promised to get it back in 45 days max.

Deerwood ended on a very frustrating note. Despite providing my non-renewal notice in March (both verbally in person and via email as instructed), the leasing office failed to process it correctly. I received no follow-up or move-out paperwork, even after directly asking what steps were required. Now that I’ve moved out, I’m being told I didn’t give proper notice and am being charged for an entire extra month of rent—even though I never signed a lease renewal. The resident portal showed new dates for new a lease I never signed, and now my account is being marked as delinquent. I’ve also had trouble getting Oates Energy services canceled because they still show me as a current tenant. I’ve forwarded all relevant email chains and documentation to the office manager but have yet to receive a resolution. I’ve made every effort to communicate clearly and professionally throughout this process. I truly enjoyed my time living at this property, which makes this ending even more disappointing. I hope management will take this seriously and do the right thing.

In my 14 years of leasing, I have never written a bad review on any one of the places I have lived, but with Heritage Deerwood, I have no choice but to warn others. I agree with the other writers on the issues they faced. I lived in this condo for three years with my family. My experience with the management was horrible. When I renewed my lease they wanted me to sign away any right to my deposit BAD SIGN. They never took care of the condo while we lived there, but expected the condo to have no sign of wear or tear. The management charged a ridiculous amount for clean up such as $50 for two small boxes and a small pile of trash we left when we moved. A $100 for cabinets that had scuff marks and small particles of debris left on them. My husband spent two days cleaning the entire condo before we moved. Now I understand why they had a hard time getting tenants and why they offer a $99 special for move-in. I will not recommend this establishment to my enemy if I had one. Lease at your own expenses. Good riddance to bad rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently moved into a 3/2.5 (townhouse). Lisa, the Assistant Property Manager was such a pleasure to work with. She answered all of my questions, calls/ emails, and made sure that my home was BEAUTIFUL and ready for move in! The homes are SUPER spacious, in a very quiet, gated community, close to 295 & the St Johns Town Center. The amenities (pool/ hot tub/ gym) need some TLC & upgrades, but overall I am SO happy I chose Heritage at Deerwood as my new home! :) Thank you so much to Lisa for being so wonderful throughout my move in process & to Omar, the Maintenance Supervisor, for always addressing all of my Maintenance Requests in a timely manner! The staff here is very professional and truly cares about their residents! Thank you, again.

Good place to rent a 1, 2, or 3 bedroom condo with attached garage. The workout room is fully stocked. The pool is a nice size. Management can be impersonal sometimes. Overall I like visiting here.
