The staff and community at Frassati Newman Hall have been some of the most welcoming people I’ve ever met! This is a fantastic place for students going to UNF who want to develop a closer relationship to faith while in college. Everyone working there is friendly and accommodating. Amanda Engels stands out as an inspiringly supportive and friendly face. She also helps set up and run the events that make this place so incredible, so she is a big part of the family here and I wanted to point her out for all the hard work she does. If any student needs a place to stay, you can’t beat the community, location, and value of Frassati Newman Hall!

Frassati is an excellent choice for a first apartment, especially for college students! Since it’s student housing, you really get to enjoy that vibrant college atmosphere. All utilities are included in the rent, which makes budgeting super convenient. I also love the community events they host—they make it easy to meet new people and get involved. Plus, the location is right next to UNF and just minutes from the St. Johns Town Center which is super nice! Maintence and staff are always on top of it and willing to help you! I highly recommend this place!

The staff at Frassati are all amazing and have made my experience more enjoyable! The pricing for the apartments are good for those looking for a great place to live off-campus.

This may be one of the worst complexes to live in. - Unsanitary conditions: Cleanliness is lacking, there’s a general sense of neglect that carries into the units. The units easily get roaches, the vents smell like weed, and the windows don’t open—which is an extreme fire hazard. It’s hard to feel comfortable or safe when basic sanitation isn’t a priority. - Lockout fees for broken doors: They charge a lockout fee even when the issue is clearly on their end. A new key wasn’t provided, nor was there any workaround to fix the issue. So you’re stuck either endlessly scanning your key until the door finally opens or calling someone to let you in. It’s out of your control and extremely frustrating. Overall, this place left a lot to be desired and then some. If you value clean, well-maintained living spaces, and fair access policies, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Edit: Windows don’t open at all, and the air circulation throughout the building is subpar. Smells like weed in your vents. Loud and obnoxious neighbors and drunk people yelling at all hours of the night. Walls are paper thin so you’ll hear everything. Units are TINY for the price you’re paying for and the appliances are all extremely outdated. Community W/D, but it’s always a mess and there’s only 6 of each for the entire 3-story building. Tyler was the best part about Frassati. He was extremely helpful and respectful. The convenient location was also a plus. Got charged a $110 cleaning fee after my lease ended when I left my unit in much better condition than when I first got it. 👎 Place got more greedy every time new management came in. Constant yearly rent hikes with no improvements to show for it.
