Boat House Apartments

I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience at Shore House has been frustrating. My AC stopped working, and after waiting for maintenance, they couldn’t fix it. They gave me a portable AC, but it wasn’t even fully installed because the exhaust wasn’t set up properly. I was told to just wait another week while my apartment stays hot. I also had issues with paying my rent. I was given conflicting information about the Flex payment app. One employee told me they weren’t using ANY payment apps, but that turned out to be incorrect. Because of the confusion and lack of communication, my rent ended up increasing with late fees. Left me struggling to pay off my school tuition and that at the same time and over $1000 worth might I add Eventually ended up having to drop out Another issue I had was with communication regarding my rent payments. I eventually paid my balance in full one time , but after making the payment, I was not informed that there were additional late fees until about a week later. Because I was not made aware of those charges in a timely manner, it put me in a difficult position financially having to make up damn near $1000 flat Mine you my rent 754🤦🏾‍♂️ And that was the first time so when it happened again regarding the payment apps it made me frustrated Its more I could be saying like the LAUNDRY , how in one of them all the washers working and not the dryers , go around the corner nun of the washers working it’s just the dryers 🤦🏾‍♂️ but these were the top ones Between the poor communication, delayed maintenance, and overall condition of the property, I can’t recommend living at Shore House based on my experience.

No one answers the phones. If you’re lucky you leave a message and no one calls you back. They never send exterminators and they promised to send one. .

Where do I start?!? We were approved for a 3 bedroom apartment and was all set to move only to be told the apartment had not been cleaned or repaired after the previous tenants moved out. We started this process 7 weeks before the move in date. Make your own decision Edith continued to lie instead of being truthful and allowed another employee tell me the apartment wasn’t not cleaned and painted after the previous tenants moved out
