Auburn Glen Apartments

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after nearly a year of living here, I feel it’s important to share my experience. From the day I received my keys, my apartment was not move-in ready, delaying my move-in by approximately two weeks. Since then, I’ve experienced continuous maintenance issues that have affected my quality of life and my family’s comfort. Throughout my tenancy, I have submitted numerous maintenance requests for recurring issues, including mold around my window seals, improperly sealed windows and entry door, recurring plumbing problems, deteriorating kitchen cabinets, multiple appliance failures and replacements, and ongoing pest activity throughout my apartment. I have also paid a monthly pest control fee, yet pest control has never treated the inside of my apartment, despite being advised they would after I moved in. As a result, I continue to deal with a significant roach problem. I also pay for valet trash service, but there have been numerous occasions when trash was not collected as scheduled, sometimes remaining outside for more than a full day. Because of the inconsistency, I often take my own trash to the dumpster despite continuing to pay for the service. Most recently, I sent management a detailed email outlining these concerns and requesting consideration for a transfer to a renovated unit before my lease renewal. I confirmed that the office received my email and later sent a follow-up. To date, I have not received any response. As someone who works in the insurance industry, I understand the importance of documentation, communication, and addressing property concerns in a timely manner. I approached this professionally and gave management every opportunity to respond before sharing my experience publicly. My hope is that management will improve communication, follow through on maintenance concerns, and provide residents with the level of service they deserve.

DON’T DO IT! I tried to overlook the reviews thinking it wouldn’t be that bad and it is. The only good thing about this property is the tour and the lies they tell to get you in. I just moved out and learned all the buildings are the same. Front and especially the back. Roach infested, chipped/peeling lead paint and walls so thin you can hear your neighbors news channel. Management does not care and won’t try to fix anything. Its noisy and ghetto all times of day so to be honest its just a projects on the southside. Save your time and money (lived in 200 bldg for reference)
