A great apartment complex to live in. Very spacious and the furniture is nice and comfortable for living. Lived here two years and honestly wish I could go back. The apartments were clean when moving in and not super old. Iβve never had any issue with the people throughout my time and it was a pretty quiet neighborhood. Itβs very close to campus which is so helpful. I enjoyed living here very much.

Of all the places to live near campus, Whitehall Apartments should be the last on your list. After living here for two years, with slow repair times due to only 1 dedicated maintenance member, a leasing manager that doesn't respond to phone calls, and a ridiculous office hours of 12 - 5 weekdays only, I can happily say I've moved out. To make things even worse, after moving out, my security deposit was brought from $225 down to around $6 from bizarre fees and repairs that they didn't fix while we lived there despite us putting in maintenance requests in the past for the same issue. Not only these prior issues, but there is a massive lack of safety on Whitehall premises, from the weekly car break-ins to the occasional robbery, if you like any sense of security this is not the place for you. If you are thinking of moving here, please think otherwise and move anywhere else in Tallahassee!

So far, the experience at Whitehall has been great!! The apartment was extremely clean, most of the furniture and appliances were brand new, and move-in was a breeze. The location is excellent since it is about a 5 minute walk to campus. I thought the staff was extremely helpful and Anita was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to meet. Looking forward to a great year for my student!

Despite all the negative reviews about Whitehall, I have lived here for two years and it is probably the best place so close to campus, on the bus route, furnished, and with good management. Anita Salter is amazing. Our heater broke last night (Whitehall is a rarity amongst student housing as it has an actual cost-efficient heater unit with emergency heating) and I put in a maintenance request around 11:30PM, she called me immediately, and then a guy came in just now, fixed the AC with no hassle and also after a long, helpful conversation about saving money on utility bills, he showed me the texts of Anita messaging him at 3AM about OUR apartment and our heater. He was freaking awesome. Beyond this, Anita has always been very understanding if rent is late so long as you let her know in advance, she's always sending out emails about maintenance workers or suspicious activities in the area, and she is very lenient with students who don't go through formal processes like subleasing or car permits as well as they should (i.e me, I got a subleaser out of the blue, on the last day, at the last second, and Anita still had the heart to work with me, WHILE I WAS OUT OF THE COUNTRY, and my subleaser) --BASICALLY she is one mother of a property manager. If you decide to live here, you will be in good hands.

I have lived at Whitehall for 3 years and my roommate has lived here for 7 and we have never had any problems for the entire time that we have lived here. Anita has always been really great about addressing any issues that we've had and has updated our furniture and appliances as we've need it. While the complex doesn't have much to offer in terms of amenities, it has been a safe and comfortable place for me to live, and being as close to campus as it is, you can't beat the price, especially compared to the other complexes on Call street. Maintenance gets things taken care of in a timely fashion so long as you actually put in a request online rather than just stopping by the office. Anita is always available by text which is really comforting and so long as you're polite and respectful she'll work with you if you ever have issues or problems. My roommate and I are really going to miss this place when we leave, but I couldn't recommend it more for FSU students who are looking to live close to campus.
