Scheduled an appointment to tour a wheelchair accessible apartment because I use one. Call before the appointment to confirm a wheelchair accessible tour. Get there and get told there are none available for me to tour but I could do virtual, and I explain I need to tour personally because every wheelchair isn't the same. They start asking questions about my chair and I explain they I have other medical equipment then they all start speaking Spanish and looking at us so we just decided to leave

i’m extremely picky when it comes to where i live, so it’s no small praise when i say my boyfriend and i love living at Towne Parc. we’ve lived in our 1x1 since August 2024 and will probably renew our lease for a 2nd time next year. front office staff are very kind and helpful, if you have a serious problem or maintenance concern they will get someone on it immediately. they’re very communicative. same with the maintenance team - they are seriously great, so timely and professional. the biggest downside is that the buildings are lowkey kind of old, but they have been renovated within the last few years i believe and are pretty clean - no carpet!! the rent prices are also fair, especially for Gainesville, and our rent didn’t increase when we renewed. they’re very pet-friendly - they only charge a one-time fee, no monthly pet rent. parking is also free and plentiful. i’ve also never had any issues with bugs. coming from a roach infested apartment in Tallahassee, i was terrified to live in another college town apartment, but i haven’t seen a roach in our unit. location is pretty good too - very close to a bunch of grocery stores, and the bus stop outside is super convenient. my bf takes it every day to get to class and has never had a problem. i also feel like the community here is great, i’ve never had any issues with my neighbors. i think most of the residents are grad students, families or young couples, so it’s very peaceful and quiet. the laundry room can be kind of annoying though because there aren’t a lot of machines and people tend to leave their clothes in the machines long after the cycle is done, but that’s not really managements’ fault lol i don’t want to sound like i’m exaggerating but i feel genuinely really lucky to have discovered Towne Parc as my first apartment in Gainesville. i doubt we’ll move for as long as long as we stay here :)
