ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES!!! The apartment is cozy and has plenty of room and awesome pool. However, we have had ROACHES for the past 2 years and management has done little to deal with this issue. Pest control comes, walks around, and leaves. Leaving the roaches with us. We renewed last year due to the space and townhouse layout. But the roaches are ridiculous and absolutely disgusting. Management does not care and blames us, but the roaches were here when we moved in. Redpoint more like ROACHpoint. Please consider this before signing a lease here or you might have some "extra roommates."

Living at redpoint is probably the worst of all worlds for off campus student living. Reasons being: WiFi cutting off a handful of days per week, roaches being found throughout the lining of the apartment and the frequency of valuables being stolen from motor vehicles. The amenities like the pool and basketball court are nice, however, I believe the distance from FSU including the cons I previously mentioned make redpoint west tenn a horrible place to live comfortably. Can you LIVE here? Yes. Comfortably? No.

Great complex, maintenance is on top of things constantly, the amenities are nice and kept up, security roams the property and keeps non-residents out. Rooms are spacious and kept up. Haven’t had any problems with management. Only suggestion on my behalf as someone who goes to the gym regularly and would prefer to workout at the apartment gym over other gyms is 2 things: replace some of the excess cardio equipment with a cable machine, and replace the second leg press machine with a chest fly/rear delt machine or squeeze it in between the pulldown and row machines. There are 5 ellipticals on one side of the gym (pictured) which are not used 9/10 times, and if they are used only 1 or 2 are being used. Clearing some out to insert a cable machine would help tremendously as there are almost limitless exercises that can be done on a cable. A chest/fly and rear delt would help add variation to 2 key exercises instead of a 2nd leg press machine. Other than these suggestions, I love the apartment and its community.

The leasing office does not return phone calls. If you need something or have a question you have to dog them for it. My son lives there. I like his apartment. However as a parent if I need documentation for the rent we're paying it is like pulling teeth.

I’ve lived in Tallahassee for 3 years now, and this complex might be my favorite. I’m in a 2x2.5, and it’s spacious, CLEAN, and quiet. Haven’t seen a single bug since moving in, which is a LUXURY in this city. Furniture and appliances are in great condition. Staff is super helpful, and the pool is a big plus. Now, I’m really writing this review because of maintenance. Two nights ago, our AC stopped working. I put in a work order at 9:30pm. I got a text message from maintenance within 10 minutes. First thing in the morning, before the office even opened, maintenance arrived and started working on the issue. I’m pretty sure his name was Larry. This man ROCKS!! It was hot inside and outside, but he was working hard to get that AC fixed, and he did. I am so impressed. At my previous apartments NxNW and Heritage Grove, the maintenance teams were pretty responsive and got my work orders done within the same week. I have NEVER heard of any apartment complex where maintenance comes and solves an issue in less than 24 hours, especially not an AC issue. I had to think about it, but this has been the case for the few times we’ve needed maintenance. They come same day. I had my reservations moving here after reading reviews and hearing some horror stories, but my experience has been nothing but smooth and flawless. I genuinely wish that I moved here the day I came to Tallahassee. I’ve been paying the same amount of rent for a 4x4 with no balcony, a place that’s not within a short walk to Publix, and with a smaller pool. This is THE spot to be.
