Madison On 20th Apartments

I recently moved into my upgraded apartment, and I will say that it is nice and I’m loving it. I feel like this is a safe place to live and quiet.

When we first came to the U.S., Madison on 20th was our very first apartment and it turned out to be an excellent experience. The location is extremely convenient, just a short distance from the UF campus and within walking distance of several grocery stores. The management and maintenance staff were exceptional. Andy, the manager, is very friendly and always willing to help, and the maintenance team was quick and supportive whenever we needed assistance. We highly recommend Madison on 20th, especially for international student families. We truly miss our time there!

I've been a resident at Madison since I think 2020. Over all the years I really have no complaints just good things to say. It might not be new or fancy or have a bunch of amenities but madison is full of genuine people and I'd take that over any fancy place. The maintenance team is small but amazing people. I've had the AC flood/go out late after hours and they have ALWAYS come to my rescue asap. Even when I break my key off into a lock the maintenance guys might laugh but they have always been ready to help me and its much appreciated. I've never felt uncomfortable coming home late at night or unsafe in the laundry room. The parking situation is great. Best of all is the management team, Priscilla is new but she's been great new member already and Andy has been there for a while. Andy was the person who helped me years ago when I was trying to find a place to live and I'm so glad he is still here and moving up! He has worked so hard and madison is glowing because of it. Genuine good people. I always planned on leaving a good review when I moved out but why wait? Management and maintenance deserve all the good credit now for all the hard work ive seen them put in to madison over the years. Thank you for caring about all your residents here. Madison is great affordable safe place to live and I'm so happy I found yall years ago because moving around sucks!

I enjoyed my time at the Madison On 20th Apartments! The apartments are not fancy but they are comfortable and clean. I always felt safe in my home, and the few neighbors I did interact with were very nice. Andy and the staff are all nice folk, I never had an issue communicating or getting repairs done. The laundry room at the complex is pretty standard, had no issues, and I felt comfortable going back to my apartment while the cycles finished. I work nights and never felt worried about leaving my apartment. (also, parking was never an issue for me) I remember on December 24th, late evening, my heater in my apartment stopped working and within an hour of me calling they had brought me a space heater so I could stay warm until they were able to work on the AC the next day. I 100% recommend staying with the Madison on 20th apartments. It might look a bit iffy at first as you drive in but it is genuinely a safe and good complex.

I've been a resident at Madison since 2020, and it's been a great experience for me. When I first moved in, Andy was a sweet, caring property manager and has stayed that way for the 4 years that I've stayed. Any issues are quickly fixed as soon as I shoot him an email. The apartments are clean and pest free (which is saying a lot because I've had problems with other complexes that have had roaches.) Rent is fairly cheap compared to other locations in Gainesville. $1080 for a 2 bedroom 1 bath, and that included the pet rent I paid for my 2 kitties plus Cox internet. And the internet is fast and never gave me any problems either! Usually internet separately can be around 100 bucks, so the fact that it was included in rent really saved me a lot of money in the long run. The floors are nice hardwood and I had updated features in the kitchen. The neighborhood is pretty chill, and I'll honestly miss this place. If I ever need to go back to Gainesville, I'll be choosing Madison again. :)
