Lexington Crossing Apartments

This review is for Derrix! Wow—I’m beyond speechless. I’m incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to speak with Derrix about my concerns and, most importantly, actually find a solution. Derrix is personable, professional, and has outstanding communication skills. He genuinely cares about the residents and goes above and beyond to make sure we feel heard and prioritized. That’s exactly the kind of support you hope for from your community management team. Thank you, Derrix, and thank you to Lex Crossings for taking the time to listen to my concerns and address them with care. I truly appreciate your attentiveness, understanding, and willingness to help!

I had an okay experience. Derrix and other staff were friendly and did their best. Maintenance did respond timely when the ac went. Only downside is there was ( i heard footsteps multiple times when studying in the night past 8 pm) a person living in the roof of study room 2. I brought it up multiple times, I believe they did try to fix it but ultimately it persisted. Eventually I stopped going to the study room entirely. The other thing was that we were assigned a non student roommate. Thankfully we were moving out at that time but it would have been a problem had we stayed the full length of the lease.

The property manager came into my unit very aggressive towards me about a lie the maintenance man told her I said. Apparently he heard me curse him out after I simply said “I need 20min while I get dressed before I leave for work.” That was all. The property manager, Dajah I believe her name is, was very unprofessional and lifted her hand in my face inside of my own apartment while I stayed polite to her and Keith(perverted maintenance). I didn’t feel safe to live here at all. I moved. The property manager Daja was disgustingly loud and rude in my apartment. Seems like the staff didn’t do any training for professionalism and communication. She acted like she was jealous over the maintenance man looking at me in a UNPROFESSIONAL SEXUAL way since I moved in which also added another layer of me feeling uncomfortable. I would NOT recommend any young girls moving here. My cousin called me after she got approved to stay here to get my insight. I had to let her know asap, this is not where you want to be. They don’t care about you and will happily disrespect you in your own apartment that you’re paying for. Dajah needs to be fired if she hasn’t been already. Other Gainesville apartments I DO recommend with great units and safe staff is 1.The Wynwood 2.RISE Thirty Fourth 3.Gainesville Place

I just wanted to revise my latest review as I have still been having a good experience but wanted to elaborate a bit since there have been some changes. While the renovation was a bit of an inconvenience for me, management and staff ensured I was taken care of and I did not have to worry about not feeling heard about my issues. Knowing that they have had changes since late last year also explains why some things weren’t addressed at the speed of light but management has effectively reached out to me and tried to help me with each problem that has arisen. Yes, sometimes I have to reach out more than once but with certain time frames and hundreds of residents, I know they will reach out at their soonest convenience, which is something I can appreciate. I know that once things are officially over for the renovations that the experience will continue to be great. (Which they seem to be wrapping up so that’s amazing!) I really appreciate the kindness the team showed throughout this process and still thankful I renewed for another year!😄
