This complex offers spacious apartments with a range of amenities like dog parks, pools, and fitness centers, often praised for its welcoming and family-oriented atmosphere, appealing to those seeking a quieter residential experience away from typical college crowds. While some residents have experienced positive interactions with staff, particularly with leasing agents like Lauren and certain maintenance team members like Jeffrey, issues with communication, inconsistent management, and slow resolution of maintenance requests, especially concerning essential services like AC and appliances, are frequently noted.

TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY. The last few months of living here were incredibly frustrating. We moved in August 2025, and shortly after, the entire office staff we had been working with left following a management change. That should have been our first warning. It was okay at first. We added a garage to our lease, but it took weeks to gain access because many of the garages were broken. Things were relatively quiet for a few months, but then the problems started. In March 2026, OVER six months before our lease was supposed to end—we were repeatedly contacted about renewing after briefly expressing we were planning on it in the future more than likely. One employee even left me a voicemail saying there was an “urgent matter” regarding my unit. As a pet owner, I immediately thought something had happened to my apartment or animals. The “urgent matter” was simply asking if I was ready to renew my lease. After telling multiple employees we weren’t ready, we continued to receive calls until someone finally admitted they were trying to determine whether to raise rent or list the unit. The constant annoyance immediately made us start looking into a new living space. It was so bad and annoying that we actually bought a house. When we submitted our 60-day notice and paid the required portion of our early termination fee, the office failed to process it correctly. The system applied it as rent instead, forcing us to make another payment while they took over two weeks to fix their mistake. Coughing up $1500 in the span of 2 weeks is hard for two, young working adults and beyond annoying since you can figure out how to process money the correct way. Then our rented garage broke, trapping our belongings. Maintenance had already been notified but never addressed it. We didn’t even use it that often to warrant it breaking. It was just that old and not maintenance regularly. When it finally failed on a Sunday, we were told no one knew how to repair garages because most maintenance is outsourced. We had to rent a U-Haul and move everything out ourselves since the garage couldn’t be closed to keep out items safe. And another $200 spent because we couldn’t get any timely assistance or answer. Why have an on-call emergency person if they can’t even do anything except maybe change a lightbulb? To top it off, we never received the required move-out instructions. We were supposed to get them on May 1, but by the end of May, just days before moving out, we still had no written guidance on how to prepare the apartment to avoid losing our security deposit. No organization whatsoever. Overall, the biggest issues were poor communication, disorganized management, lack of follow-through, and staff who either didn’t know the policies or couldn’t resolve problems. We experienced mistake after mistake, and getting answers required repeated phone calls and office visits on my lunch breaks. I would not recommend living here.

My experience at Legacy was very pleasant! My leasing agent Lauren made the process easy and convenient, lease with her today!

Aside from the negative reviews, I had a pretty positive experience living at this apartment complex. Throughout my time here, I always felt safe and comfortable, especially as a woman living alone, which mattered the most to me. I enjoyed taking walks around the neighborhood and the community has a mixture of family-oriented/young professionals. Also, maintenance was always professional and requests were handled quickly, as well as help from the office staff. Overall, I would recommend if you're looking for a complex that is not too close to the college rowdiness and is more family-oriented.
