This was my first apartment when I moved to Gainesville, and I have had a great experience here. The apartments are spacious and updated, with cold AC, full kitchen appliances and everything I needed. Ana and Jay do a great job and go above and beyond to make this place feel like home. Any maintenance concern I had were addressed in a timely manor. When my washer/dryer had issues, they promptly replaced it. Ana has fostered a sense of community through her timely communication, kind demeanor and planned resident events. Jay does a great job with all maintenance needs or concerns. I really appreciate the hard work and hospitality from them both. I can tell they care about the community at 39th Avenue Apartments. Overall, I recommend.

It is a very rare moment when I find an apartment complex that has a competent and honest leasing agent. Well, praise today because I have had the pleasure of working with Ana Mulhearn of 39th Ave apartments in Gainesville, Florida.
My situation stems from finding a clean and safe place for my son to move into after he was hired in Gainesville, only to find out the hiring complany lied to the new hires and did not disclose it was a short term seasonal job!
So, we did not need that apartment anymore but were bound by the lease. Ana stepped up and honestly started showing the apartment and found a new tenent is under a month and a half!
We are now free of the lease!
This complex was clean, presentlable, had a nice gym as well as a polite and helpful property maintenance man.
All said, if you are looking for a place to live that is not a mess due to overcrowding with 4 students to a split up make-shift apartment, then this is your place to go!

I booked a tour of a unit with them (or so I thought). Picked a tour time (11:30am) they changed that tour time the morning of to 12:30pm. I arrived and no one was at the leasing office, it was closed. I called, no answer. My hope is that tenants here receive better care and service than this but Im not interested in pursing further to find out.
