This apartment community offers a range of unit sizes and locations, with many residents appreciating the helpful and accommodating staff, especially during the move-in process. However, some residents have experienced issues with maintenance response times for repairs like AC and plumbing, and there are concerns about pest control and the availability of advertised amenities such as pools and working gates.

Per your request. bc it took 8 attempts to get any remediation done for mold caused by flooding by the upstairs neighbor. But truly, it comes from the manager. My experience with her today showed me how extremely unprofessional and dishonest she can be. She stated she was unaware of my situation although I’ve sent multiple emails, messages through the portal, and requests for maintenance. But immediately after saying she didn’t know my situation, she stated “ But I sent maintenance over after you sent your message today didn’t I?” Bc i asked how she was unaware with the amount of times I’ve reached out and it being multiple channels of contact.. So which is it? Is she aware of my situation or unaware of my situation? My bathroom flooded twice right after moving in due to a missing bolt. No mitigation was done for that although I had puddles of water across my bathroom floor. That was in April. On 6/8 the neighbor upstairs flooded my apartment so bad that I woke up to water dripping on my bed. Now I have to replace my mattress because I just discovered mold on it when I moved it for maintenance today. It so bad that my bathroom was flooded and there were puddles on the other side of my island in my living area. 2 different areas of flooding on the floor and consistent drip from the ceiling. I had to make at least 4 maintenance request, 2 emails, and 2 portal messages to have anything done. This started on 6/8. It took 11 days for anybody to come in here and treat for mold. The first guy that came on 6/8 did shop vac the bathroom, which is the only mitigation that’s been done for any of the flooding in here. Today they sprayed mold killer on my ceiling and then painted over it. If there was that much water that I can see mold, why was the ceiling not opened to check for the source. Yesterday maintenance said he would be here today at 10. So I have been living with mold for 11 days and still probably am. I made the first request to check when the flooding happened. All the second guy did was touch the ceiling, tell me there were no soft spots, and it’s cement like the bathroom floor so there can’t be mold. I can see the seams between the sheets of drywall on the ceiling bc of the extensive flooding, could not see them before. I sent a message a little after 12 today bc maintenance wasn’t here yet. They arrived shortly after. But because maintenance did not show up at 10I had to go wait in the office around 12:30. That’s when the property manager came and let me know that I needed to leave the office because she needed to leave for lunch and I explained to her I’m not allowed to go into my apartment yet and if it would have been fixed sooner i wouldn’t be there at lunchtime. We are under a heat advisory today. She advised me that “well we do live in FL” after I asked if I was just supposed to wait outside bc of negligence from her and the neighbor. Then she told me to go back in the office and “she just won’t eat today”. I was not comfortable being in there so I came home, opened up my apartment, and waited 45 minutes to go back in. She followed me from one room to another as I was leaving trying to argue with me about my lived experience in this situation and details that are in in my messages, maintenance requests, and pictures. The first maintenance guy that came after the day of the flooding also refused to do anything about the mold complaint for either room. His “fix” was to spray paint the ceiling. I was not comfortable with that solution. I explained to him I could smell mold in the bathroom and see gnats, but he told me that the floors are cement, therefore there cannot be any mold. But the cabinets are not cement the baseboards are not cement, and the paint is bubbling near the baseboard and was not prior to 6/8. I just want to pay my rent and live in safe, healthy apartment. These last 2 weeks have caused unnecessary stress and anxiety about health risks all due to the negligence of the lady upstairs and feeling like my situation is not being taken seriously.
