Gatehouse on the Green Apartments

The apartment and the amenities are nice. The pool, game room, and gym are some notable examples. Although, I wish the gym had some cables, all they have is some weird calisthenics tower. The biggest issue this community is facing is a major littering problem. I shouldn't have to walk less than a couple steps and find trash. Especially, in front of my apartment there is always trash and today I drew the line when I found a wipe full of feces. Absolutely disgusting and I know this community can do better. Why invest so much money into making this complex look great when you don't enforce standards to keep it that way?

I was in a hurry to find an apartment after getting a job in the area and Mariana provided excellent service in helping me do so. As a first-time resident, Mariana walked me through all of the steps and made the process quick and easy. The unit is beautiful and everything has been better than expected. I can't say enough good things about the wonderful service!

Mario from the maintenance team has been consistently professional, quick to respond, and highly reliable. Whenever an issue comes up, he handles it efficiently and with a great attitude, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about keeping everything in top condition. A strong maintenance crew is essential to any residential complex, and Mario is a great example of why. The upkeep, safety, and overall comfort of residents depend heavily on people like him who ensure problems are addressed promptly and correctly. His dedication helps maintain not just the property, but also the quality of living for everyone here.

3.5 Years Update: (3 Stars) The amenities are finally open, and the area is beautiful with a resort-style pool. However, it's already getting damaged, with some people breaking things and leaving trash. After the office closes, minors are everywhere, doing whatever they want. The game room's pool table sticks are missing or broken. Without security, it won't last. The gym is great with plenty of equipment, so enjoy it while you can. Dog waste is still an issue. Do not walk in the grass unless you like surprises. There is a lake behind the buildings that I like for a relaxing walk but can’t do anymore. I feel like I'm walking in a minefield of waste. Not to mention around the building and sometimes even on the sidewalk. We pay for trash valet, so there's no trash outside the compactor on those days. But after the office closes on Friday, trash piles up all weekend. People are lazy and just throw trash outside. Despite installing a camera, which is now gone, nothing has changed. People were supposed to get fined, but it seemed like they were just getting selfies. If you want a grill, choose a unit in one of the green-highlighted buildings (see attached map). According to the apartment regulations, grilling isn't allowed, but this only applies to buildings near the office. They made me and my neighbor remove ours, but others have grills without issues. There's a variety, from gas to charcoal, on all floors—as long as you're not next to the office. Front gate is a joke. Most of the time is broken and when it is not, people don't respect them. Don't think it would give you some kind of security because it won't. Anyone can come inside with no issues even through the exit. With neighbors so far I have no major complaints. Maybe because I'm at the end of the building. Night time is usually quiet and I have never seen any major issues. Maintenance they get the job done but you have to be on top and make sure you ask for Jesus. Otherwise… Well, just ask for Jesus. I Feel bad for him but I already had multiple bad experiences with the other maintenance employee and can't do it anymore. You can tell when somebody doesn't want to work. At the administration office, we always go to Nile (the assistant manager) for questions or concerns. She's always helpful and seems to enjoy her job. However, some issues require the property manager, Ms. Dimaggio. My wife has emailed her multiple times without any response. When my wife followed up in person, Ms. Dimaggio was rude. Her job is to ensure everyone follows the rules for a safe and clean neighborhood. If she can't do that, she might need a new career. This apartment has a great location, close to everything and major highways. The new amenities are great, and while the unit is a bit outdated, it's not too bad. My only concern is management enforcing rules only when it's convenient, like when corporate or investors visit. Everything near the office looks "clean" and "compliant" because they don't check the rest of the property. 2.5 Years Update: (2 Stars) After 1 Year Update: (3 Stars) 1st Month Update: (5 starts)
