False advertising and poor management. The pool has been closed since the beginning of February. During my entire lease, I have only been able to use it once, shortly after moving in. Despite this, the pool is still advertised as one of the propertyβs amenities. In April, management sent an email blaming new Alachua County inspection requirements and a backlog of pool vendors. At first, that sounded reasonable. But itβs now been over five months, and the pool is still closed with no clear timeline for reopening. I understand that things can take time, but weβre talking about a swimming pool, not a major construction project. Itβs hard to understand how it can take this long just to bring a pool into compliance. Meanwhile, residents continue paying for an amenity that has been unavailable for most of the year, with no rent credit or other compensation offered. The lack of urgency, accountability, and transparency has been very disappointing. If access to a pool is one of the reasons youβre considering living here, be aware that advertised amenities may not actually be available.

Donβt live here. The other reviews about the property's condition are all true. Iβm regretting signing and just waiting for my lease to end. The place is crumbling; just today, my entire shelf in the closet ripped out of the wall. My dryer has broken 2-3 times now, with this most recent time being a motor issue. The maintenance here is slow, and it can take days for an issue to be addressed. I just had a maintenance guy who was supposed to be on call for emergency maintenance due to an electrical problem tell me he couldn't come because his bike wasnβt charged. Then he lied to my face, saying he came by around 10, knocked on the door when I was awake in the living room waiting for him, and he never showed. I had to call again to get him to come by. Just because itβs somewhat close to campus doesnβt mean itβs worth it. Find someplace newer, where the walls arenβt falling apart, and the maintenance is done properly.
