From Charles Passage, it’s a 15-minute walk to MIT and a 20-minute bus ride to Harvard University. When you want to explore the rest of the city, take a three-minute stroll to your nearest bus stop, or walk eight minutes to the Lechmere MBTA station. From the latter, you can cross the river into Boston in just over five minutes – but if you want complete independence, keep a car in your new home’s on-site parking facility instead.
In between adventures, you’ll find that your apartment is the perfect place to relax after a busy day. Throw some popcorn in the microwave, then carry your snack through to the living room and spend a moment chatting about your day with your flatmates. When you need a breath of fresh air, get dressed for a workout, then hit the riverside jogging trails at nearby North Point Park. Afterwards, ease your aching limbs with a hot bath, before throwing your sports kit in your apartment’s washer dryer for a clean.
When hunger strikes, rifle through the kitchen fridge for the ingredients you need to whip up a tasty meal, or call your friends and arrange an outing to one of the local restaurants instead. Get dressed up in your private bedroom, then head to The Similans for authentic Thai food, or The Helmand for a taste of Afghanistan. You’ll be free to have fun and concentrate on your studies when you live at Charles Passage, thanks to the 24-hour maintenance service.
