You’ll find it easy to get to class at Montréal’s universities when you live at Place Dorchester. Walk to Concordia University in eight minutes, or take the 23-minute stroll to McGill University. If you’re short of time, you can go by bus in 14 minutes. If you’re studying at Université de Montréal it’s an 11-minute drive to campus, or you can go by bus in 18 minutes. The nearby bus and Metro stops make it easy to get around the city, and there’s assigned underground parking available.
When you get back home, take the elevator up to your studio or one- or two-bedroom apartment and grab a cold drink from the refrigerator. Change into your swimsuit and head to the rooftop indoor pool to do a few laps, and take a few minutes to admire the stunning view of Downtown Montréal.
Back in your apartment, freshen up with a hot shower, then chose a fresh outfit from your spacious closet. Adjust the air-conditioning and settle down to a focused study session so that you’re ready for your next class. When hunger strikes, rustle up a snack in your fully-fitted kitchen, or head out to nearby Kazu for delicious Japanese home cooking — try the shrimp burger and housemade tofu. Afterwards, catch a movie at nearby Cineplex Forum, or head home to catch up on your chores in the onsite laundry.
Utilities and A/C are included in your rent, and there’s an Enterphone security system and video surveillance to keep you and your belongings safe.
