Founded in 1963, the University of York is comprised of more than thirty departments and centres serving over 15,000 students studying a wide range of subjects. You can find plenty of student accommodation in and around the university campus, with everything from the pretty village setting of Heslington to the busy Hull Road that leads straight into York's vibrant centre.
