With your home on Bridge Avenue you can afford to sleep in, as you’re so close to classes at University of Tennessee. Walk 10 minutes’ to campus and use the sports facilities, drop into the library or meet friends for coffee. You’re on the local bus route, so you can ride downtown in around 10 minutes, hit the shops then meet friends at the theater or go for drinks - the buses run into the evening, so you won’t have to worry about getting home. When you want to go kayaking, it’s a 15-minute drive to Sequoyah Park.
Come home and toss your wet gear into the washer and dryer in your apartment while you go and catch up with your housemates. Make yourself something to eat in the fully-equipped kitchen and, if you’ve chosen an apartment with a balcony, you can sit outside to eat. You’ll find high-speed internet in your home and Wi-Fi in all the common areas, so if you need to check your emails or message a friend you’ll always be connected.
Study in peace in your bedroom or grab your textbooks and head to the computer lab. It’s always open so you can pull an all-nighter when a deadline is looming. Once you’ve handed in your work and caught up on sleep you’ll be feeling refreshed and ready for a workout in the fitness center. Use the cardio equipment or pump weights. If you need any help or advice, you can always chat to a community assistant. They organise social events too, and can point you in the right direction if you have any maintenance requests to log.
