At Canova, you are just a 15-minute walk from the Università degli Studi di Firenze. You are also only a five-minute stroll away from the European School of Economics. Wake up each morning and stroll into the fully equipped kitchen to whip up some breakfast before class or make espressos for you and your flatmates using the coffee machine. Pick out some clothes for the day from your closet and if they’re creased, use the ironing set that’s supplied in the apartment. If you have time before your classes, take a stroll around your beautiful Duomo district to see Florence’s pretty buildings at the most peaceful part of the day.
When you get home from your day at university, take the elevator up to your apartment and relax on your cosy sofa. Hang out in front of the television or make the most of the internet and Skype family back home or update your social media. You’ll be comfortable thanks to air conditioning.
At dinner time, pick up some fresh vegetables from Mercato Centrale or one of your local alimentari (delicatessans) and invite your fellow students round for a locally inspired pasta dish. You can throw plates and cutlery straight into the dishwasher when you’ve finished eating. Alternatively head out to one of the many restaurants on your doorstep, sampling the crostini di mozzarella e acciughe and an Aperol Spritz at La Cantinetta Winebar or trying something different with a bowl of Japanese broth at Banki Ramen.
