Living on campus at Northwestern State University means accessing the college’s facilities like Eugene P. Watson Memorial Library and the Harry Turpin Stadium are easy. Walk from bookstore to café, or jump on your bike and cycle to the historic downtown district in around 10 minutes. If you want more adventure, hop in your car and drive hour north to Shreveport or two hours south to Lafayette.
During semester, you’ll be glad to spend time at University Place where you can share a room or have one to yourself in a spacious, fully furnished apartment. Each apartment has two bathrooms so you won’t be waiting to shower, and a kitchenette with appliances where you can make snacks. Catch up with your housemates in the living area where you can rest on the sofa between lectures.
When you’re not hard at work, spend time in the clubhouse or rec lounge, playing pool or watching TV. Keep an eye on the social events and activities organised by the friendly management staff so you don’t miss summer pool parties or helpful study seminars. As well as a desk in your room, there are study spaces to use any time you want to spread out your books or talk through group presentations.
After going for a swim in the pool, pass by the laundry and throw your towel in to wash. Keep all your belongings neat and tidy in your room, where you’ll find plenty of space to keep everything. Use the Wi-Fi to get on with your work, and rest easy knowing that with utilities and Wi-Fi included in your rent, you won’t incur any unexpected costs.
