This property offers a generally positive living experience, with many residents highlighting the friendly and responsive staff, including quick maintenance service. Its central location near businesses and shopping, along with spacious layouts and in-unit washer/dryers, are frequently appreciated. However, some residents have reported persistent issues with hot water and flooding, and there have been concerns regarding transparency about move-out charges and the long-term closure of the pool amenity.

I have lived here for the last 8 years my first year was really good in a 1 bedroom apt. I then transferred to a 2 bedroom apt and my apt has flooded twice a year up until the present (including today water coming from my ceiling fan onto my bed and on me while I was asleep) woke me up quick!!!!! Water coming down the wall. Also the shower problem you start out with good water temp but quickly turns to burning hot you jump back and then it turns ice cold. Have reported all this several times. They come say it’s fixed but it keeps happening. I recently in April asked to be moved to another apt or let out my lease . I’ve yet to hear back from them. Oh this last time in April while I was away at my sisters funeral in SC my apt flooded they did fix the leak but left a hole in my ceiling over my stove, the floor has white stuff (maybe mold) my bedroom door won’t shut from the water it absorbed. So no I’m not HAPPY at all. At this point I want out!! And the maintenance person lives 45 mins away!!! Make it make sense!!! I called at 8:17 this morning and here it is 10:00am and nobody has shown up

It is with a mixture of profound fascination and a touch of the whimsical that we turn our attention to a certain local habitation "Sandstone", which has recently seen fit to adorn its corridors in a manner most striking to the eye. One cannot help but observe that the curators of these premises have abandoned the somber drabs of yesteryear in favor of a palette quite reminiscent of those illustrious gladiators of the Texan plains, known in the modern vernacular as the "Dallas Cowboys"; indeed, the walls now ripple with a heraldic display of azure and argent that would make a knight of the gridiron weep with civic pride. However, the true marvel of this establishment—or perhaps its most delightful absurdity—resides not in its masonry, but within the very wires of its telephonic exchange. Upon seeking an audience with the main office, the weary traveler is greeted not by a creature of flesh and blood, but by a "Machine of Intellectual Pretension" (A.I.), a Galatea of the copper lines who possesses neither a heartbeat nor a hat-size, yet answers the summons with the chilling precision of a Swiss chronometer. "One might find more warmth in a winter’s fog than in the utterances of this clockwork phantom, yet it must be confessed, with no small amount of irony, that this 'Artificial Intelligence' displays a brevity and a command of fact that would put our most seasoned clerks to utter shame." We find it a most diverting pastime to contemplate this automaton of the airwaves, who stands ready to parse one’s most intimate domestic inquiries without the need for a tea break or a sympathetic soul. Indeed, we feel it a matter of public duty to urge every citizen of leisure to seize their receiver and address this invisible sibyl with whatever queries their heart may harbor; for there is a singular, albeit haunting, joy in being corrected by a spirit of steam and logic who delivers her decrees with such alarming conciseness. Furthermore, it would be a dereliction of our editorial duty to omit mention of the nocturnal illumination—or rather, the judicious lack thereof—which graces the carriage-ways of this estate. It appears the stewards of the property, in their infinite and inscrutable wisdom, have seen fit to preserve the sanctity of the midnight hour by allowing certain lamps to remain in a state of perpetual, somnolent gloom. One might imagine these extinguished beacons are intended to foster a sense of gothic mystery, or perhaps to sharpen the visual acuity of the residents as they navigate the asphalt sea; for these silent, lightless sentinels stand as a testament to the fact that while the "Artificial Intelligence" in the office may see all, the common man is expected to find his way to his front door by the mere flickering of his own wits and perhaps a sturdy cane to ward off the shadows.

I lived in this apartment for only six months. During that entire time, we never had hot water for anything. Calling maintenance was useless, as the technicians would come but never fix the problem. Whenever we needed assistance from the office, there was never a defined deadline; everything was always postponed. However, if we were even a single day late on rent, we were immediately threatened with eviction. The situation worsened even more when we terminated the contract. There was still one month left to pay, but the final bill was absurdly high. Upon reviewing the charges, I found listed items that could not have been damaged by us. I took care of the apartment as if it were my own, and I have videos recorded before my move that clearly show pre-existing defects that were subsequently charged as if we had caused the damage. The only charge I agreed to was the cleaning fee, as I left in a hurry and didn't do the final cleaning. From that moment on, I tried to contact the administration several times. I sent emails that went unanswered. When I called, I was repeatedly told that the manager would only return the following week. When she did return, I had to call again so she could check my email. Even after assuring me she would call back, no response was provided. During this period, I requested detailed explanations of the charges, including receipts, invoices, or proof of repairs or replacements for the items you claimed were damaged. Even if I had caused any damage, which I did not, the amounts charged were clearly excessive and, at a minimum, double the actual market value. None of these requests were fulfilled. Due to this continued lack of communication, time obviously exceeded a month simply because my emails and requests were ignored. I was then informed that, since a month had passed and payment had not been made, I would no longer receive explanations and would have to deal directly with the collection agency. This delay was not caused by negligence on my part, but rather by your failure to respond or provide the requested documentation. They also charged me rent as if I had vacated the apartment on the 16th, when in fact I moved out on the 5th, which can be easily verified. Do you have any idea how many sleepless nights this situation caused us? This behavior is unacceptable. Before charging former tenants, you should at least provide a basic and functional living space. Everything indicates that the intention was simply to charge exorbitant amounts, without actually replacing the items for the next tenant, or replacing them and profiting by charging much more than the actual cost. This situation is unfair, exhausting, and completely incompatible with responsible property management.
