Excellent place

I found my home of four years at Baylor here! I'll be honest, she's vintage, but the community of this place is unmatched. Dawson along with Allen is home to Baylor's Leadership Living Learning Center, and my time at LEAD was life-changing. I started as a freshman, but because of the deep relationships, care of professional and student staff, and the abundance of things to do in the program, I stayed and served as a mentor to incoming freshmen my sophomore year and then as the LEAD alum Liaison my junior year. I thought my senior year I'd move off campus and move on, but my heart was knitted to this place all through undergrad, so I ended up staying to be their Executive Director my senior year. I met my best friends here and laughed and cried and shared life with so many here that I can never thank LEAD enough for. I came because there were Jack-and-Jill style bathrooms instead of community bathrooms. I stayed because this place and the people here were home. Much love to you, Willie Dawson!
