Many students find the community welcoming and the staff helpful, often praising their friendliness and the attractive appearance of the property. However, some residents have experienced issues with inconsistent maintenance, including slow repairs and frequently broken amenities like gates and gym equipment, alongside concerns about unclear parking policies leading to unexpected towing.

I lived here for 2 years unfortunately. I recommend everyone save their time and money. It’s not a good place to live. Gates are permanently open even after management assured me it would fix MONTHS ago. They’re constantly changing the parking policies for both guests and tenants. They will hit you with an over $1000 in damages even if you’re extremely clean. Office has nothing but excuses to give you, or they’ll tell you that someone off site deals with that issue (who btw makes no effort to contact you back unless you blow the emails and calls). I’ve also put in a few noise complaints that never got resolved or even followed up on. So expect long nights of loud music until 3-4am Would also just have to be okay with the fact they can walk into home at anytime under the lease and will threaten to call animal control on your pets if they arent locked up when trying to enter. Which gets difficult I work a day job and they’re scheduling for them to come to your apartment is terrible/non existent. I will never live at another Grey Star apartment complex.

My sink has been leaking since I moved in, and they completely refuse to fix it. Their maintenance guys tried their best, but a real plumber is needed and they keep telling me they’re waiting for approval. The entire underneath of the kitchen sink is soaked with water 24/7. Do not move here, it went completely downhill when Greystar took over.

This apartment complex is nothing like how presented online or during tours. The biggest issue is the towing situation, which is completely out of control and extremely unprofessional. My car was properly registered, yet it was still towed with no valid explanation. When I went to management about it, they acted like it had absolutely nothing to do with them and took zero responsibility, even though THEY are the ones allowing this to happen on their property. The staff is dismissive, unhelpful, and clearly doesn’t care about residents at all. Instead of helping or trying to resolve the issue, they just shrug and pass the blame like it’s not their problem. Having your car towed for no reason is stressful, expensive, and avoidable but this place doesn’t care. The complex looks decent on the outside, but don’t be fooled. Between the poor communication, lack of accountability, and residents being treated unfairly, it’s not worth the headache. Save yourself the stress and money and look elsewhere. I would never recommend living here.
